Taylor Swift has canceled a sold-out concert in Thailand, which came under military rule last week after a coup d'etat. Concert promoter BEC-Tero announced Tuesday on its website that the concert was canceled "due to recent events in Thailand." It didn't elaborate but called the move "a difficult decision for all parties." The concert in Bangkok would have been the night of June 9. The country is under a nighttime curfew though it's loosely enforced. "I'm sending my love to the fans in Thailand," Swift tweeted." I'm so sad about the concert being canceled." The American singer-songwriter has other performances throughout Asia during her current Red Tour. Several other international performers have canceled or postponed appearances in Thailand during the recent months of political protests and the coup carried out last Thursday.

Air Asia gave Taylor Swift fans exclusive access to "The RED Tour presented by Cornetto" in Singapore. Thai fans were disappointed after a show in Thailand was cancelled! The five winners have a meet and greet with Taylor and take photographs with her and they are taken to backstage by Anne Adrian Swift, mother of Taylor, who acts as a guide before the concert. There are 6 stage set changes which are repeated every time Taylor performs live and the stage sets are transported from America by boat with all the equipment. The fun starts with the song "State of Grace" for which Taylor wears a pair of leather shorts, a white shirt and red shoes, followed by "Holy Ground" and "Red". A sexy song "The Lucky One" in red dress is a story of her life. And Taylor comes down from the stage to shake hands with fans during the hottest song "I Knew You Were Trouble". The night ends with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" with a spectacular show featuring the fairies and clowns and Taylor dresses as the young magician. Their trip ends with a visit to the theme park Universal Studios, which is truly universal.
