Karlie Kloss is married to Josh Kushner, a man who is responsible for my terrible health insurance. Kushner is also the brother of Jared Kushner—senior advisor to this creature and husband to Ivanka Trump, official Trump spawn and unofficial World Diplomat. Kloss does not seem to care for her in-laws, or at least for their politics. In an an interview with British Vogue, Kloss touched on life as a Kushner. “It’s been hard,” she said. “But I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life.” Kloss, who voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election (at least according to Instagram), hasn’t exactly called Ivanka and Jared out on their unyielding connection to this current hellscape of a presidential administration, but she and Josh did both attend 2018's March for Our Lives gun control march, and Josh donated $50,000 to the cause, so he’s certainly the better Kushner, which is not saying much. (And, again, the health insurance. It’s bad.) Kloss also talked about studying feminist history at the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and terminating her modeling contract with Victoria’s Secret. Per British Vogue: “The reason I decided to stop working with Victoria’s Secret was I didn’t feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful,” says Kloss. “I think that was a pivotal moment in me stepping into my power as a feminist, being able to make my own choices and my own narrative, whether through the companies I choose to work with, or through the image I put out to the world.”

Karlie Kloss hung up her Victoria's Secret Angel wings in February 2015. At the time, the official reason was scheduling: Kloss was studying at NYU. But in reality, something more principled was happening: Kloss was leaving the brand because she did not think its portrayal of women matched her own feminist values. Kloss told British Vogue that she had started studying feminist theory at New York University’s Gallatin School, and that led her to quit what was one of her most lucrative contracts at the time, according to the outlet. “The reason I decided to stop working with Victoria’s Secret was I didn’t feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful,” Kloss said. “I think that was a pivotal moment in me stepping into my power as a feminist, being able to make my own choices and my own narrative, whether through the companies I choose to work with, or through the image I put out to the world.”

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift skewered Scooter Braun on social media after it was revealed that Braun had purchased Big Machine Records and therefore all of Swift's masters. She accused the manager and producer — whose clients include Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande — of being a "manipulative bully," and of wanting to harm her hard-earned career. So what's to make of the fact that Swift's friend Karlie Kloss is still managed by and friends with Braun? While many celebrity fans came out to support Swift in the wake of Braun's acquiring of Big Machine Records, such as Todrick Hall, Martha Hunt, and Halsey, others, like Bieber, stood up for Braun. Kloss remained silent on the issue, which makes sense: Braun is a close enough friend to be a guest at Kloss' Wyoming wedding to Josh Kushner. Now, Swift's friend, stylist Ashley Avignone, has stirred up rumors that Kloss and Swift are actually not okay, and that their rift is over Kloss' connection to Braun. In screengrabs captured by PopCrave, it appears that Avignone, who recently attended Swift's Amazon Prime Day performance, is putting fuel behind the rumor that Kloss is on Team Braun by liking tweets quoting gossip blogger Perez Hilton who claims two aren't close "because she found out that Karlie was telling things about her and her carrer [sic] to Scooter Braun."

The model and Project Runway host, 26, has been managed by the entertainment executive since 2015 and he confirmed their bond is as close as ever with a telling Instagram post on Wednesday. He shared Karlie's 'incredible' new Vogue UK cover on his social media along with a gushing caption which read: 'Could not be prouder to be on this journey with you. Your greatest beauty is your love for others and we love you. Congrats!' Taylor's very devoted fans were quick question Karlie's loyalty to the singer and speculate about the status of their friendship. The singer, 29, and model became fast friends in 2013 after meeting at a Victoria's Secret show. They enjoyed Instagram-worthy holidays together, would hit up the gym and take in music concerts arm-in-arm. They were so close, in fact, that the model even had her very own room in the singer's New York apartment. So when Taylor received an outpouring of support from her celebrity friends amid her ugly battle with Scooter over her master records last month, the silence from Karlie was deafening.

The fallout between Taylor Swift and her onetime best friend Karlie Kloss reportedly started when the model took advantage of the singer’s generous hospitality. Swift has previously said that Kloss had her very own room, complete with her favorite snack foods at the ready, at the singer’s $47.7 million Tribeca compound. But an insider told The Post that Swift was “furious” when Kloss invited friends over to the home without first getting approval. Although both camps deny this happened, a source admits that the two had a tiff that turned into “something crazy.” “Taylor got upset over something crazy and then she just alienated Karlie,” she told The Post. Kloss’ rep denies this. Sources say this is just another example of Swift, whose new album, “Lover,” is out Aug. 23, overreacting to a situation. In fact, Swift turned down invites to both of Kloss’ wedding ceremonies when she married her long-term boyfriend last year, according to a source close to both camps. However, Kloss’ rep says Swift was unable to attend due to prior commitments. “She always does the same thing: She trips up when she goes further than she needed to,” said a source in regards to Scooter Braun, who’s the latest to be deemed one of Swift’s enemies, after he purchased Big Machine Records, the singer’s former label, for a reported $500 million in June.
