Harry Styles, of One Direction fame, is back. He’s got a new website, new art, and new posts on social media. He also has new music. “Lights Up” was produced by Tyler Johnson with additional production by Kid Harpoon (Tom Hull), who both co-wrote the track with Styles. Johnson wrote and produced most of Harry’s first album. But this time, at least with “Lights Up,” the song is good, and not imitative of anything. Thumbs up! Over Labor Day weekend he appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and warned us a new album was coming. No date was given, but Sony/Columbia has got to get Harry released before Adele comes roaring in second week of November or so. I told you about this back on September 4th. Harry dropped two posts on social media after 11pm tonight, and picked up nearly 1 million likes in 10 minutes. Will that translate to sales? Harry’s debut album did alright, not great, and was plagued by soundalike music from the 1970s.

'Lights Up' singer, Harry Styles, has revealed the reason he couldn't play Prince Eric in the Little Mermaid is because he's heading on tour in 2020. Harry Styles says he is planning on going on tour in 2020 in the wake of his new music, something he 'hasn't announced' yet, until now that is, whilst speaking to Roman, Vick & Sonny on Capital Breakfast! After joking about trying to 'worm his way out' of revealing the reason why he couldn't play Prince Eric in Disney's upcoming live action remake of The Little Mermaid, the 25-year-old eventually caved and told Roman, Vick & Sonny in a FaceTime chat: "They shoot for so long, and I want to tour next year, maybe, potentially...haven't announced that yet."

Best of Harry Styles on SNL If you're going to join the short list of Saturday Night Live guests who host and perform on the show you need to be super committed. Harry Styles seems to have the right stuff. On his first day at 30 Rock, Styles played right along, filming a short bit in an empty Studio 8H as a warm-up to this weekend's double duty. "You're saying 'I'm here at SNL in 30 Rock,'" a voice off camera explains to Styles, dressed in a baggy white jumpsuit with a blue and white striped shirt underneath and denim pageboy cap. "What's it for?" Harry asks, script rolled up in his hand. "Social media." Exit stage right. Style bolts the scene with perfect comedic timing.

People are still not over Harry Styles' Sara Lee sketch on Saturday Night Live, where he played an employee named Dylan who's confronted by his bosses about mixing up the company's corporate Instagram account with his own. In the skit, Dylan leaves the raunchiest comments one of Nick Jonas' pics and is even confronted about sliding into Shawn Mendes' DMs in the naughtiest way. But the craziest part of the sketch weren't the risque comments. It was the fact that Harry totally messed up the pronunciation of Shawn's name. Instead of calling him Shawn Men-des, he pronounced it Shawn Men-deez.
Fans on Twitter couldn't get over it and even asked Shawn whether he heard about how Harry had pronounced his name and it turns out he did. Shawn had the best reaction, though. "Yeah that’s officially how it’s pronounced now!," Shawn tweeted at the fan.
