Christmas is a time for sharing...or is it?
See what happens behind the scenes when global megastar Mariah Carey and a Christmas Elf discover the last bag of Walkers Pigs in Blankets.
Of course, being the queen of Christmas comes with some occupational hazards...like having to tell people when it's officially time to start playing Christmas music:
As I've said many times before, Mariah Carey is a living legend, a DIVA with the range, and a songwriter and producer who has had 18 No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and many, many critically acclaimed albums and singles.

This came out a few days ago. But I got an update yesterday. Let’s start with the main event. Mimi declared last week that it’s officially HER season, Christmas season. “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is already climbing the charts. It has never hit #1. Every year it keeps getting closer and closer though. Will she finally do it? The thing is…she doesn’t have to. This song will be FOREVER. This song has made Mariah Carey immortal in a way that no other artist of this time will be. And that’s not hyperbole. Think about it. Christmas isn’t going away. This Christmas song will NEVER go away. It’s eternal. She’s eternal. She’s elusive and eternal, a butterfly for all time, a butterfly in perpetuity. Also? She makes more money selling the song than streaming it. She just sold it to a bag of crisps for a LOT of money.

Mariah Carey makes her now-annual return to the Billboard Hot 100 with "All I Want for Christmas Is You," which re-enters at No. 39 on the Nov. 23-dated chart. The 1994 carol concurrently returns to the Streaming Songs list, up 58% to 15.2 million U.S. streams in the tracking week ending Nov. 14, according to Nielsen Music. "Christmas" returns to both charts the earliest that it ever has since it began its yearly jaunt back onto the Hot 100 beginning in 2012 (see below for further timeline details about the song). Last year, it re-entered at No. 29, and at No. 30 on Streaming Songs, on charts dated Dec. 1, 2018. To compare, that week it drew 14.4 million streams, vs. this week's 15.2 million. The last time that "Christmas" scaled Streaming Songs, it dashed all the way to No. 1, crowning the Jan. 5-dated chart with 51.9 million streams in the tracking week ending Dec. 27 (which, of course, included Christmas Day).

It's never too early to start spreading Christmas cheer. That's the message Mariah Carey is sharing in a new video she recorded for Spotify as part of the streamer's 25th anniversary celebration of the singer's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" single. The perennial holiday chart-topper, with more than 520 million global streams on Spotify -- where it is on 12 million playlists -- is the centerpiece of a collab between the singer and the streaming service called Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You Enhanced Album. The collection, out on Thursday (Nov. 21), is curated with original content that compliments the deluxe anniversary edition of Mariah's Merry Christmas album and will "serve as the ultimate destination" for Carey fans around the world, according to Spotify.
