Madonna faced major backlash from fans this week after she reportedly started her concert scheduled for Thursday night at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace nearly two hours late.
Many people who attended the concert, which is a part of a three-night engagement for her Madame X Tour, took to Twitter to complain about the singer’s tardiness.
The show was scheduled for 10:30 p.m., but reports state that Madonna didn’t take to the stage until after midnight Friday morning.
The late start was apparently so aggravating that, according to Wonderwall.com, more than 500 refunds were issued after the show.
“We were at the Las Vegas show on Thursday- we were told to arrive no later than 9:30- we all sat there for 2 1/2 HOURS before she came out. Then...no apology...said it was OUR fault for arriving so early. Condescending & alienating all night long. Why??? RIP to our EX-queen,” wrote one (ex-)fan.

Madonna has reportedly left her label with Interscope Records after nearly 10 years and is eyeing a deal with Warner Records, according to The Sun. The pop superstar signed her first-ever record deal in 1982 with Sire Records, which is owned by Warner Music Group and distributed by Warner Records (known as Warner Bros. Records until 1999), so the move would be a return to her roots. http://instagram.com/p/CDcSm2nB0rg The "Like a Prayer" singer apparently inked a three-album deal with Interscope in 2011 and just recently decided to part ways with the company, The Sun reported. Warner Media did not immediately respond to an inquiry from FOX Business. http://instagram.com/p/CDe7MR8h6EK Google searches for "Warner Music Group artists" and "Warner Records artists" feature Madonna, despite the fact that neither company's website listed Madonna as an artist it represented at the time of publication.
