Important reminder! Princess Eugenie's royal wedding is going down on October 12, and apparently it's going to be completely lit. Look how excited Eugenie is about it! She couldn't be more pumped!
JK, that's a picture of her at the Royal Ascot, but still, let's assume Eugenie's pumped. Honestly, she better be considering security for the wedding is costing English taxpayers millions of pounds. Two million pounds to be exact, which will be put to good use keeping Eugenie safe. But um...people aren't thrilled. According to The Daily Mail, Eugenie's wedding was initially estimated to cost taxpayers "just" £750,000, but sources say Prince Andrew wanted the whole thing to be a lot more expensive.
The 28-year-old bride-to-be, the youngest daughter of the Duke of York, teamed the £550 strappy stilettos with a forest green dress for the reception, which honoured the anti-Apartheid hero Andrew Mlangeni.
And it isn't just the Duchess' fashion footsteps Eugenie appears to be following in - the Princess will get married to her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle on October 12th, the very same venue where Meghan tied the knot with Harry less than five months earlier.
Buckingham Palace also announced yesterday that Eugenie and Jack will be inviting 1,200 members of the public into the castle grounds on their big day to share in the celebrations, and embarking on a carriage procession around Windsor - just as Meghan and Harry did before them.
