A 14-year-old girl who went missing last week has been 'found safe and well' but another schoolgirl who disappeared the same day remains unaccounted for, police have revealed. Detectives said they were 'growing increasingly concerned' for the welfare of Alisha Watkins who was last seen leaving her home in Cardington, Bedfordshire, on September 29. Police today revealed that Alisha has been found unharmed but officers are now continuing their appeal to trace Elisha Crimmins, also 14 and from Bedfordshire, who went missing on the same day. Elisha is described as around 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build and with shoulder length brown hair.

Nakayla Baskin, the 11-year-old Ottawa girl missing since late September, has been found safe, Ottawa police say. Baskin was found at around 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, the police service said, after officers received a tip and paid a visit to an address in the city's east end. She had been missing since packing a bag and walking out of her family's Carlington home early on the morning of Sept. 25. The force's major crime section had been called in to handle the case last weekend. Ottawa police said major crime investigators are still looking into any potential criminal aspects to the case.
