It turns out Ariana Grande used to be one of Jim Carrey's number one fans for both his acting chops as well as his realness. In fact, she still might be. On Saturday, the "God Is a Woman" singer added a series of posts about the actor to her Instagram Story. One of them included a quote by Carrey about depression and how to understand it. "Depression is your body saying, 'I don't want to be this character anymore. I don't want to hold up this avatar that you've created in the world. It's too much for me,'" the quote card begins. It continues, "You should think of the word 'depressed' as 'deep rest.' Your body needs to be depressed. It needs deep rest from the character that you've been trying to play."

We can credit Ariana Grande for many things in this world: five studio albums beloved by Arianators worldwide, the resurgence of the ponytail, doughnut licking, making Pete Davidson a person we talk about. Now, we can add a dating trend to the list: “Grande-ing.” Inspired by the lyrics of the chart-topper “Thank U, Next,” Grande-ing is taking a breakup in stride, learning from your experiences with your ex and moving on, knowing you’ll be A-OK on your own. In the song, Grande name-checks her exes and gives props to each with the breeziness of someone going over their weekly grocery list: “Thought I’d end up with Sean/But he wasn’t a match/Wrote some songs about Ricky/Now I listen and laugh,” she sings. She thanks Davidson, too, and the late Mac Miller “’Cause he was an angel” before dropping her powerful post-split thesis: “One taught me love, one taught me patience, and one taught me pain, now, I’m so amazing. I’ve loved and I’ve lost, but that’s not what I see. So, look what I got, look what you taught me.”

Grande as the spitting image of Audrey Hepburn for Givenchy has set off strong feelings from Audrey's son ... who applauds the tribute, but also thinks Ariana should fire her team. Audrey's son, Sean, tells TMZ ... he's happy with the tribute to his late mother, but he's baffled that Ariana's team wasn't more creative to build something original. Sean says he'd fire her team if he could because all they did was make Ariana a look-alike. As you know by now ... the French luxury fashion house tapped the "7 Rings" singer as the new face of its 2019 Fall and Winter campaign that'll be unveiled in July. Givenchy announced the news Friday with an Ariana video ... featuring her in a black dress super similar to the one Audrey wore in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." Ariana's also posing kinda like Audrey did in the opening scene. The double nod to Audrey didn't go unnoticed, and it's also no surprise given Ariana's obsession with the film. She has the movie's famous phrase "mille tendresse" (meaning a thousand tendernesses in French) tattooed on the back of her neck. It's Ariana's favorite movie ... and if you needed more evidence, the opening lyrics to "7 Rings" goes, "Yeah, breakfast at Tiffany's and bottles of bubbles."

Ariana Grande may be the master of her domain, but not the master of her likeness ... so claims a photographer who is now suing her for allegedly ripping off these photos. A photographer named Robert Barbera claims Ariana had no right to post the pics on her Instagram page. She never asked for permission or paid a penny ... she just took them and ran with them. The photos have certainly made the rounds ... Ariana has 154 million followers and the photos in question scored 3,392,035 likes. The photog is asking for either the profits she earned from the photos or $25k for each photo, whichever amount is greater.

Ariana Grande is a big fan of space. She regularly tweets about planets, has several moon tattoos, and even released a song called "NASA." On Saturday, after her tour performance at San Antonio, Texas, Grande was lucky enough to visit NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. She documented the whole trip on her Instagram story. "Thank you for the coolest day of my life @nasa," she wrote in one caption. "My mind is still processing and devouring every second of what just happened but I can't wait to share more. What a special day and experience. Thank you so so so so much for your generosity and for showing my friends and I around." Videos showed Grande having a private tour, signing space equipment, trying on an orange space suit, and being driven around in "some kinda rover," which she said was the "coolest thing I've ever experienced."
