Congratulations are in order for Luxembourg's royal family! Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg's nephew, Prince Constantin of Nassau, has married his fiancée Kathryn Mechie in a civil ceremony in Gibraltar. The private nuptials took place on Tuesday 22 December with the couple's two-year-old son Felix present. Constantin, 32, is the eldest son of Prince Jean of Luxembourg and his first wife, Hélène Suzanna Vestur, and is the nephew of the reigning Grand Duke Henri and his wife Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. Photos published on Couture and Royals' Twitter account show the bride and groom posing with their son following the civil ceremony, and the couple signing the registry. Kathryn, who is the daughter of Stewart Campbell Mechie and Kaye MacEwan, looks gorgeous in a low-cut, fitted number that features long sleeves and a collar. Like many families around the world, the Luxembourgish royals are celebrating a quieter Christmas than normal. Henri and Maria Teresa posted their official seasonal card on their Instagram page this week, wishing their followers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as they showcased a series of sweet family photos. One of the pictures showed the new royal baby – Henri and Maria Teresa's grandson, Prince Charles. Charles is the first-born child of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and his wife Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie. The baby prince, who is second-in-line to the throne after his father Guillaume, was born on Sunday 10 May at the Grand Duchess Charlotte Maternity Hospital in Luxembourg City. Shortly after Charles' birth, the royal family released a set of photos of the new addition to the household. In two historic portraits which showed three generations, Grand Duke Henri proudly posed with his son Guillaume and grandson Charles.

While the younger generation of royals are growing up fast, for some people it doesn't seem that long ago since the likes of Prince William and Prince Harry were at school. Over the years, we have seen the Queen's family go through their adolescent years in the public eye, so take a trip down memory lane as we share some of the best throwback photos of the royals as teenagers, including Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, who both married royal Princes. The Duchess of Cambridge Before she met her future husband at the University of St Andrews, 19-year-old Kate Middleton spent ten weeks on a Raleigh International expedition trip to Patagonia in Chile, during her gap year in 2001. Kate did wilderness trekking and analysed marine life during her time abroad. The Duke of Cambridge Prince William is pictured after passing his driving test first time in Cirencester, Gloucestershire in June 1999. The then 17-year-old royal punched the air with delight after his instructor gave him the good news, according to reports at the time. The Duke of Sussex Could Prince Harry's student digs be any more reminiscent of the noughties? The 18-year-old was photographed in his dorm in his final year at Eton College. Note the posters, the stereo and a sweet framed photo of Princess Diana. The Duchess of Sussex Fellow actress and singer Katharine McPhee unveiled this incredible throwback photo of Meghan Markle when the pair worked together in musicals during their teenage years. She captioned the Instagram snap: "Meghan and I did musicals together as kids. She grew up to be the Duchess of Sussex and I grew up to star on the West End, so same life if you ask me. #TBT."

The Queen has a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on display in her home at Buckingham Palace — despite the couple’s contentious exit from the British royal family. The portrait of her grandson, 36, and Markle, 39, could be seen in the background of Queen Elizabeth II’s meeting with the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday. The photo was propped on a table beside other family photos, including one of Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, as well as another framed pic of the Queen herself with her late husband Prince Philip. Relations between Markle and Harry and Buckingham Palace have been tense following the couple’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March where they claimed members of the royal family had questioned what their son Archie’s skin color would be. Markle also claimed that the royal family did nothing to help her when she came forward and told them that she’d been experiencing suicidal thoughts as a result of royal life. However, Markle and Harry have discussed being on good terms with the 95-year-old monarch, and a royal expert insists that the Queen was uninvolved in the racism controversy. Things do appear to be solid between the Queen and the couple at this point: She even congratulated Meghan and Harry after they welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet, earlier this month.

'The Queen and Prince William Visit Irn-Bru Factory in Scotland'
The Queen has visited AG Barr's factory in Cumbernauld, where the iconic Irn-Bru drink is manufactured at the start of a four-day visit to Scotland.
Marking her first official visit north of the border since the death of her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, the 95-year-old monarch was joined by the Duke of Cambridge as she officially opened the factory's new process facility.
