Being an aunty is a really unique joy. Those of us who aren't proud aunties will probably know a few, and know that it is very hard not to show off your adorable nieces or nephews. It seems Pippa Middleton is definitely a member of the proud aunty brigade, as it has been revealed that her nephew George takes pride of place on her phone lock screen. Grace Stroup told PEOPLE that she spotted the screensaver when she bumped into Kate Middleton's sister at Heathrow Airport. Grace told the site that she let Pippa pass her on the escalator and that she recognised her right away: "She said thank you and was extremely nice. "Then I did a double-take and instantly knew who it was." Grace added: "She pulled out her phone and her lock screen had a picture of George and Kate, smiling together looking just like a regular family – it was so cute!" Speaking about what the future King's aunty looks like in the flesh, Grace said: "She had a grace about her.. It was surreal to see her looking so normal."

Kate Middleton's brother's marshmallow image-printing business lost almost £250,000 between November 2013 and December last year. According to The Sun, business accounts showed James Middleton's business venture Boomf took a hit of £243,986. Boomf aims to create 'multi-sensory' marshmallows by allowing customers to have their own Instagram pictures printed onto a set of the sweets. The machine allows images to be printed onto marshmallows instantly before they are sold as a box of nine for £15. It means members of the public can give the business their favourite images before watching them be transferred onto the tasty treats, ready for eating. The Boomf brand was launched by Mint Digital towards the end of 2013, but James Middleton’s involvement was only revealed in January last year. Speaking in a tongue-in-cheek manner at the launch of the ‘mobile Boomf’ in July last year, Mint Digital chief creative officer Andy Bell described how the pair successfully transferred a tricycle idea into a reality. He said: ‘For many months, deep in the Berkshire countryside, a man dreamed of a tricycle that could create personalised marshmallows at the touch of a button.

How quickly minor royalty fades from the memory. Prince William of Gloucester – George V’s grandson, nephew of Edward VIII and George VI – may now be largely forgotten; but he was a media darling before his death in a plane crash, aged only 30, in 1972. You could see why, in The Other Prince William (Channel 4) – a straightforward but moving documentary about his short life and doomed affair with a twice-divorced, Hungarian model, Zsuzui Starkloff. All the angels were gathered at Prince William’s birth. He didn’t just have money and royal blood. He was lovely-looking with icy blue eyes. And he had that rare thing in royal circles: brains. A diffident, nervy intelligence that came across in an affecting interview clip from the Sixties. He went to Cambridge and Stanford Universities, and defied royal convention to serve in the Foreign Office in Japan, rather than the Armed Forces. Inevitably, the programme zeroed in on his two-year affair in Japan with Starkloff – the most unsuitable of royal brides. At her own admission, it didn’t help that she was foreign, twice divorced, had a child and was older than him. The Royal family – still reeling 35 years after the Abdication Crisis – remained wary of twice-divorced women. So Prince William brought the affair to an end. It’s not entirely clear, however, that the Royal family did put the kibosh on the marriage. When Prince William wrote to the Queen, sounding her out about it, she sympathetically wrote back, “Follow your heart.” So the programme over-egged its central thesis – Establishment extinguishes romantic fairytale. And it turned a little trashy at times, not least in the sensationalist voice-over: “He was the playboy prince whose pursuit of the good life made him the idol of the young Prince Charles.”

Fitness fan Pippa Middleton, 31, has been practising what she preaches while on a lavish family holiday on the Caribbean island of St Barts with brother James and his girlfriend Donna Air. Miss Middleton, who has spent the past year studying nutrition as she prepares for a career switch to a health writer, showed off the results of her hard work during a paddleboarding trip. Looking happy and tanned, the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister showed off a set of impressively toned abs after taking to the waves wearing a chic blue print bikini.
