During ET Canada Live, Roz Weston, Graeme O'Neil and guest co-host Elamin Abdelmahmoud react to Ariana Grande joining "The Voice" for season 21 alongside Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and John Legend. Ariana Grande is joining hit show “The Voice,” replacing Nick Jonas as a coach. The pop superstar, 27, will join the next season of the NBC show, Season 21, alongside regular coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson. A source told Page Six, “Ariana is a huge fan of The Voice and her management team has been negotiating to get her on the show for a while. “She is replacing Nick Jonas, who is a [coach] on the current season, but he isn’t leaving for good. Nick will remain on rotation with other stars that have appeared on the show. The chances are he will be back soon.” Multi Grammy-winning Grande has appeared on “The Voice” in the past, performing her hit “Into You” on the finale in 2016, but did not take part as a coach. Her most recent album, “Positions,” broke the record for most songs to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and cementing her as Spotify’s most-streamed female artist of the past decade.

It looks like Nick Jonas won't be joining coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend on The Voice next season.
On Tuesday, Grammy-winning singer Ariana Grande revealed on Twitter that she will be taking Nick's place among the panelists for the 2021 fall installment of the NBC hit show. This will be Ariana's first time coaching, though she appeared on The Voice's 2016 finale.
"surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! @nickjonas we will miss you," the artist tweeted. Shortly after Ariana published her message, The Voice Twitter account retweeted the announcement.
Within minutes, John took to social media to weigh in on the big news. "So excited to welcome Ariana to our Voice family!!" the "Bigger Love" singer wrote in support.
About 15 minutes after that, Nick himself jumped on Twitter to send the "Thank U, Next" vocalist well wishes. "Congrats @arianagrande! You’re going to kill it next season! Welcome to the family 😎," he said.
Though Nick appears to be handling the news well, some of his fans seem a bit more upset to hear that he's walking away from the show yet again. Just this past spring, Nick rejoined The Voice as a coach after exiting ahead of season 19 and giving up his red swivel chair to Gwen Stefani. Now, it looks like he's content on saying goodbye to the competition show a second time, though he has not offered up a reason for his departure this year.

The 27-year-old singer announced on Tuesday that she will be joining the NBC singing competition next season.
NBC’s The Voice has a new superstar judge! Today, Ariana Grande announced she will be joining Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton on the panel for season 21. She joins a long line of killer singers who have made appearances on the show, including Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, and Nick Jonas (Jonas is on the current season). Grande captioned her Instagram, “surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! @nickjonas we will miss you.”
Grande announced the news in a style this morning with a bold statement look. Sitting on one of the show’s famous swivel chairs, Grande sported a Lanvin leopard-print dress, a giant belt cinched at the waist, and a matching printed bag and shoes. It’s customary for judges on The Voice to dress their best on the panel—Stefani and Aguilera in particular have brought flashy, maximalist outfits to the show—and Grande will no doubt be doing the same during her tenure. This week, Grande has already proven she’s down to wear sky-high heels again, so her TV-worthy ensembles will be worth tuning in for. She's clearly off to a strong start.
