She is currently blazing the promotional trail with her new single Wings. However Delta Goodrem found time to do some good in between work arrangements, as she stepped out in London on Thursday for charity initiative, Global's Make Some Noise Day, which was a fundraiser to help provide much-needed financial grants for flailing charities. The 30-year-old hitmaker wowed at the charity event as she donned a slinky red gown which flashed her long toned legs and a hint of cleavage while pairing the look with lace-up gladiator heels. She added a tough edge to the ensemble with leather jacket, which was draped over her shoulders rather than fully on her frame. The stunning star wore extremely racy, lace-up gladiator sandals which featured ties all the way up to her knee.

The 30-year-old stunner has been working on her fifth studio record that includes her recent single 'Wings' - which topped the charts in Australia - and can't wait to wrap it up but revealed joining the cast of 'Cats The Musical' in Australia threw a spanner in the works for the record's title. Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Delta revealed: ''I'm tying a little bow on it at the moment. While I'm doing 'Cats' I'll absolutely finish up recording it. Make sure every snare hit and every single guitar line and every single piano riff is all in alignment ... Going into 'Cats' was so crazy, way before I was offered this role by the Andrew Lloyd Webber team, I had called my record 'Feline'. I'm not calling it that now but I had called it that for ages.''

Delta Goodrem has posed for her sexiest shoot yet! The Australian music darling graces the cover of the new issue of Maxim, which is also the magazine's annual Hot 100 edition. Delta topped the list this year, beating babes that include former Maxim cover girls Jennifer Hawkins and Sam Frost. While Delta has erred on the sexier side before — some of her ensembles on The Voice were very hot! — this is a new side to her we haven't seen: topless in a pool with all her natural beauty (wet-look hair! And those eyes) shining through.

The usually demure singer has topped Maxim’s annual Hot 100 Australia list and has posed for a racy shoot for the magazine’s cover, right, where she is seen emerging topless from a swimming pool, right. While she has been in the public eye since she was a teenager, it is the first time Goodrem has stripped off for a men’s title but Maxim editor-in-chief Santi Pintado said the sultry spread was actually her idea. “It was pretty much a collaboration but Delta had a lot of the ideas and we were all for it because it’s a beautiful, sexy shot,” he said. Hollywood actress Margot Robbie, sportswoman Ellyse Perry, Bachelorette Sam Frost and former Miss Universe Australia Jennifer Hawkins rounded out the top five. Armytage did drop three places from her No.3 spot last year but, considering the strong competition this year, her ranking is still a triumph. Joking about her appearance on the Maxim list during Sunrise’s broadcast yesterday, sports presenter Mark Beretta said the blonde was in good company. “Aren’t I,” Armytage quipped back. “I mean, beating Miranda Kerr, that’s ridiculous. It’s a great honour.”

Delta Goodrem has been studying her own two cats to help find her inner feline for her musical-theatre debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats. She has two cats at home, Priscilla and Venus. "I am a cat person," Goodrem says. "Mine love music. Venus is the singer. But she's scared of everything and is very jumpy. Priscilla is more snuggly, like a teddy bear." Goodrem is preparing to play Grizabella, the "Glamour Cat" who has fallen on hard times and delivers the show's hit song, Memory. "I am loving being a human cat!" Goodrem says in her dressing room at the Capitol Theatre during a break from rehearsals. Her room is filled with personal items to give her "good energy". A white dream catcher and fairy lights hang above the mirrors. Candles, flowers, incense and crystals are nestled among her costume items. Jars of lollies sit on a high shelf. "I'm a hippy at heart," she says. "I love things to feel warm. I want to have a Zen feeling in this dressing room." Goodrem is a stage veteran after years of singing live but Cats is her first theatre role where she's needed to discover her character. "I haven't played an animal before and you really have to find your own cat in this show," she says. "It's just like playing a human character – you have to find a cat personality."
