Country couple Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans took a well-deserved vacation from work and tour recently. The pair went on a romantic vacation to Greece and we're just over here living vicariously through their stunning photos.
The pair traveled all around the country visiting places like Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos and they shared personal photos and videos from their trip to social media and it's safe to say we have major FOMO!
While their photos show the good life, the "Miss Me More" singer updated fans about the not-so-great part of their getaway: she was stricken with food poisoning during the trip. "Welp. I spent the better part of our time in Santorini with a wicked case of food poisoning," Ballerini wrote on a photo of herself cradling a sports drink next to her beau. "Here’s a realgram for ya because I’m starting to be able to laugh about it."
As Kelsea Ballerini heads into 2020, she is making some surprising resolutions. The "homecoming queen?" singer reveals that her goals for the new year include drinking less, reading more, and seeing even more of the world.
"2020: care more about less," Ballerini shared on Instagram, along with a photo of her jumping into the ocean. "Ditch the phone more often. Be present. Eat more veggies drink less wine (crying emoji]. Read a book (yes, just one, it’s that daunting to me...). Play more guitar. Find magic in alone time. Conquer a fear (jumping in the ocean is one of those...because sharks...). Take more ownership of my art. Smile a lot. Stress less. Travel to new places. Play more music."
Country singer Kelsea Ballerini issued an encouraging response to a young fan who wrote her a letter about the difficult time she’s having in middle school.
The 26-year-old artist took to Instagram to share part of a note she received from a girl named Ellie, from Colorado. In it, she discusses how hard it’s been to be a middle schooler and the “nasty things” people have said to her that have made her life difficult. Ellie simply wanted to thank the “Club” singer for her music, which she says gets her through the hard times.
After failing to track down the youngster’s address, Ballerini simply responded via a public post on Instagram.
“Middle school was really hard for me too. It’s a time when everyone is starting to discover who they are, it’s awkward and emotional, and unfortunately the way some people feel like they have it together is by tearing other people apart.”
The country star added: “Try your best to breathe through it and let it roll off of you, and please please remember that it’s not your weight to carry. It will make you stronger and full of grace. I also promise that middle school will be over before you know it.”
As Kelsea Ballerini prepares for the March 20 release of her new album, Kelsea, the country music hitmaker is grappling with the fact that she will be traveling extensively across the United States in the coming weeks.
If she's worried about the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, she's doing what she can to protect herself.
"Pushing 20 flights in the next few weeks for album release," Ballerini writes on her Instagram page, alongside a video that shows her (jokingly?) covering herself head-to-toe in plastic and holding disinfectant wipes.
While some might chuckle at Ballerini's attempts to 'protect' herself from the virus, the reality of the situation is no laughing matter. Currently, coronavirus has killed more than 3,100 people throughout the world, with a reported 58 people in the United States battling the sickness. Those numbers are expected to rise in the coming days and weeks.
According to the World Health Organization, the best way to keep from contracting the disease is to wash your hands thoroughly, and try your best not to get too close to someone who might be infected.
