Considered by many to be Korea's top female Kpop group, TWICE will be making its much-anticipated Japan debut in July, where fans of the nine idols will be treated to a special showcase after the release of their Japanese album on June 28th. With three girls (Momo, Sana, and Mina) in the nine-member group hailing from Japan, TWICE's Japanese debut is sure to get quite a lot of attention this summer. After having broken a YouTube viewership record in January with the fastest to 100 million viewers with their music video for "TT," the group has already achieved iconic status in Korea. Concerts and fan events are constantly sold out, and the girls are in the middle of their first world tour, TWICELAND, which kicked off in Seoul on February 19th. TWICE is on a roll, and they will be heading into Tokyo this summer with momentum on their side. Prior to their showcase on July 2nd, the group will be releasing their Japanese debut album on June 28th, which will feature 10 songs, including Korean and Japanese versions of their hits "Cheer Up," and "TT." For Japanese fans, this debut has been a long time coming. Already widely popular in Japan, the girls have already received tons of exposure in the past, creating a sold fan base that's now just waiting for July to hurry up and come. No doubt the girls of TWICE, especially the three from Japan, are looking forward to a very special summer.
