The Swift family has some seriously good genes! Taylor Swift’s handsome younger brother, Austin, has landed his first movie role, and the pretty “Wildest Dreams” singer, 25, couldn’t be prouder. “My brother @austinkingsleyswift just acted in his first movie and I’m all proud and stuff,” the songstress boasted on Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 9, of her very good-looking sibling. In the shot that appears to be from the film, Austin, 23, is sitting in a classic car with the collar of his white shirt open and tie undone, looking surprisingly like a gorgeous young Tom Cruise with his strong chin, soulful eyes, and 5 o’clock shadow. Austin, who has previously performed in college productions, is playing a character named Lance in the thriller I.T., which will star Pierce Brosnan and Stefanie Scott. Brosnan plays a business owner whose I.T. consultant starts to stalk his daughter. The baddie will be played by James Frecheville, according to Deadline. There is no release date yet. Austin's big sis may also be getting back into acting. Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay revealed to ET that the show has been in talks to have Taylor -- who has already had roles in The Giver, Valentine's Day, New Girl and CSI -- on as a guest star. "We just talked about it," Hargitay said of Swift, who's a diehard Law & Order fan. "We’re going to wait until the end of the [1989 World] tour to see how it goes. But it’s in the air."

If you still think of Austin Swift as Taylor Swift's little brother, that'll soon change: The actor is making a name for himself. After appearing in movies like I.T. and Live by Night, he's set to star in a new movie called Whaling. The indie film's also got another actor whose name you might recognize: Tammin Sursok, who played Jenna Marshall in Pretty Little Liars. In a macabre-sounding story, a brother and sister go on a road trip to get rid of their mom's ashes in a very particular manner after she dies, The Wrap reports. Along the way, a hustler played by Austin runs into them, and their encounter leads to a major plot twist. The movie's just started shooting in Oklahoma and doesn't appear to have a release date yet. It sounds like it could be just the beginning of a prolific acting career for 25-year-old Austin.
