That’s the focus of Coach’s new holiday campaign that features the brand ambassador as she heads out for a festive night of celebrating. Gomez is pictured dressed in a lace dress with a white shearling collar and sitting in the back of a vintage Plymouth Fury as it speeds around the glittering lights of New York. The actress and singer also sports several pieces from the brand’s jewelry collection, including statement rings, leather and tennis bracelets, pendant necklaces and a crystal choker. There’s the requisite Coach bag — in this case, a Dinky with quilting in a bright pink. The Dinky is Coach’s key bag for holiday and features a crossbody-to-clutch silhouette that was first introduced in 1973. For this holiday, it’s being offered in new colors in a quilted napa leather. For the actress and singer, the holidays are a big part of her life — and she has her mom to thank for what has become her annual traditions. “My mother always made it a point to have us volunteer and give back even when we didn’t have much,” she told WWD. “The holidays can be very stressful for people so it’s an important time to help out.”

In New York, it doesn’t feel like fall quite yet, which makes getting dressed especially tricky. Clever layering is the solution for this transitional season. Case in point: Selena Gomez. When the singer stepped out in Manhattan yesterday, she tried on the ultimate no-longer-summer-but-not-yet-fall look: wearing a dress over pants. Gomez threw on a sleeveless shell over a pair of black skinny jeans. The clingy knit felt like an ideal way to segue into sweater weather while still seeming cool and breezy. The slight slit at the knee gave the doubled-up ensemble some extra movement. Gomez added polish in the form of slingback suede pumps: a ladylike style she recently also wore in a teaser for her new single, “Wolves.” A suede shoulder bag lent the look a final textured layer, while her signature mirrored sunglasses made for a sleek finish.

Selena Gomez, Marshmello - Wolves (Visualizer) Selena Gomez released her new single “Wolves” and it could be her most personal song lyrically. The singer’s collaboration with helmeted DJ/producer Marshmello dropped on Wednesday, making it the third EDM feature Gomez has done since Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me” and Zedd‘s “I Want You to Know.” In the chorus for “Wolves” Gomez belts out: “I’ve been running through the jungle/ I’ve been crying with the wolves/ To get to you, to get to you/ I’ve been down the darkest alleys/ Saw the dark side of the moon/ To get to you, to get to you.”

Selena Gomez is returning to music and doing so with an EDM beat behind her. The singer, 25, announced on social media Thursday that she will be releasing a collaboration with Marshmello, titled “Wolves,” on Oct. 25. “Selenators, meet the mellogang,” Gomez tweeted to her fans and followers along with a photo of her and the helmeted DJ/producer. “Wolves” will be Gomez’s third EDM feature following the success of “It Ain’t Me” with Kygo and “I Want You to Know” with Zedd. The Marshmelena collab comes after the July release of Gomez’s single “Fetish” featuring Gucci Mane.
