Selena Gomez went rollerskating with friends last night and dressed ready for the paparazzi to capture her first big Jelena breakup statement look. Gomez wore itty Daisy Dukes and a yellow statement t-shirt that read, "Never underestimate the power of a woman." It's her second statement tee in the past couple days. Her last one said "choose empathy," presumably a memo to all humanity in the wake of the March for Our Lives event Gomez attended and was moved by. While Gomez didn't outright say who last night's shirt's message was to (contenders include shitty patriarchal men, President Trump, and her on-off ex Justin Bieber), there's solid evidence it's an assertion of her resilience to Bieber. Consider the fact the Biebs' affair with Baskin Champion was covered globally last week while he and Gomez were still on an alleged break, and Gomez was away in Australia. Consider the report that went around Bieber was only using Champion to make Gomez jealous, as one source told Entertainment Tonight. "I’m sure there’s a part of him that wants to make Selena a bit jealous!" the source told the outlet. "This seems like right out of the old Justin’s textbook! He was very manipulative with her emotions the last time and did stuff like this a lot."

Selena Gomez happily indulged in some self-care on Thursday as she was seen going to Pilates class with a friend in Hollywood. It appeared like the Disney alum, 25, enjoyed a vigorous work-out, heading home from the exercise studio with wet tresses.

While some, like Jennifer Lopez, went ultra-glam on Easter Sunday, others, like Selena Gomez, took the opposite approach. When Gomez headed to a church service yesterday, she wore a pretty Reformation sundress that was appropriate for the holiday at hand, and at $245, surprisingly affordable, too. Gomez, of course, frequently makes the case for contemporary labels that won’t break the bank. She coupled her floral frock with a cozy Free People cardigan, a layer she has been sporting on several occasions as of late, which gave her spring-y dress a transitional feel. Likewise, she skipped the sandals in favor of Puma sneakers and socks—a combination she also put her mark on when she recently designed her first collaboration for the brand, which included similar white kicks and accompanying accessories. Gomez finished of with gold hoop earrings by Jennifer Fisher for a subtle touch of shine.

Selena Gomez is dipping a toe into sneaker design. Today the singer revealed her first collaboration as brand ambassador for Puma. The sleek, all-white style, known as the Phenom Lux, comes with gold accents and a removable ankle bracelet and is best worn with a pair of Puma’s new sheer windowpane socks—an accessory for which Gomez also lent her vision. “I’ve been wearing some fun socks with my sneakers, and it just makes me feel a little bit more feminine,” Gomez told Vogue via phone from Los Angeles. “I spent a lot of time creating a sock that felt comfortable, chic, and fun.” Gomez has been styling her Pumas with the same high socks and ever-present anklet for some time now, and the new release allows her legion of fans to follow suit. “It has that chain that makes me feel womanly and makes me feel cool,” she said. “It gives you a little bit of sparkle, and it can make you feel like you’re dressed up even when you’re in sweats.” Gomez has already been sporting the Phenom Lux beyond the gym: Last month, she took them to the studio while wearing a pair of track pants topped with a leather jacket. “I’ve become super into my way of wearing sneakers,” she said. “I also wear my sneakers with dresses, things that feel pretty.” In November that meant swapping her heels for Puma sneakers at a black-tie benefit gala for the Lupus Research Alliance; Puma has pledged that $100,000 from sales of the collaboration will go toward the nonprofit, which aims to find a cure for the autoimmune disease that Gomez has publicly opened up about battling.
