Selena Gomez knows how to make the kids at Boston Children’s Hospital smile. The "Hands to Myself" singer headed to the hospital on Friday to spend her day off hanging out and even playing a little music with the patients. Gomez, 23, was in town to perform at the TD Garden in Boston on Saturday evening as part of her “Revival” tour. "I have a show in Boston ... here, tomorrow. I never know where I am because I’m always on tour," Gomez joked as she chatted with a few young female patients. "But I have the day off so I figured I’d come and say 'Hi!'" Dressed in a black tank top and jeans with her hair down in long wavy curls, the star even stopped into the Seacrest Studios for a jam session with some of the children. Gomez played the bongo drums and led a singalong to "Lean on Me."

Selena Gomez is sick of that same old love, so she kissed a girl to shake things up. The 23-year-old pop star hung out in the pool and partied the night away with friends and fellow celebs during a bash she hosted on the Fourth of July. The all-female group, Bahari — the trio that has been opening for Gomez during her current Revival Tour — joined the patriotic festivities, and there were fireworks between the “Hands to Myself” singer and one of the girlbanders.

Selena Gomez, music phenomenon and cola’s greatest asset, sings about how women can achieve anything in her song, “Who Says.” It really resonated with this one young woman, Lorraine Ruiz’s granddaughter, who got all emotional superfan on us at a concert. The young fan in a pink bow, whose face was lightly sprinkled with glitter, sang every stereotype-breaking word from the “who says you won’t pass the test?” to the “who says you can’t be the best?” And then a tear falls down her glittery cheek. So far, 4,771 people have liked this video posted Sunday, and it’s making people sublimely happy.

Two of Selena Gomez's recent pics are the most liked photos ever on Instagram. This is huge! But are we surprised?! This is not Selena's first time setting a record on Instagram, and we have a feeling her likes will only go up from here. Selena's gorgeous photo from last week received a whopping 3.8 million likes, setting the ultimate record. Although Selena Gomez has been the most followed person on Instagram since March, Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner had her beat in the likes department for a while. The "Hands to Myself" singer's stunning selfie from 12 weeks ago comes in a close second at 3.7 million likes, but Justin Bieber has her tied with his throwback pic of the ex-couple kissing. But I mean, Biebs can't take all the credit for those likes. It takes two to tango!

By the time she made her way to Talking Stick Resort Arena on Tuesday, Selena Gomez was nearing the end of the Revival Tour, her second major outing as a solo artist. And the transformation from the family-friendly Disney Channel icon who fronted the Scene at the Arizona State Fair in 2010 to the Gomez who led a crew of dancers through steamy renditions of “Hands to Myself” and a new song titled “Feel Me” in a set that found her screening sexy footage of herself while changing from one grown-up costume to another was as striking as intended. As Gomez announced in the opening line of the opening song of Tuesday’s set, “I dive into the future / But I'm blinded by the sun / I'm reborn in every moment / So who knows what I'll become.” At 23, she’s clearly focused on that dive into the future, asserting herself as the independent woman she’s becoming while keeping the parts of her career that made her such a teen sensation at an arm’s length. There was no mention of “Wizards of Waverly Place” and only two songs from her days with the Scene – the multi-platinum triumph that is “Love You Like a Song” and a heartfelt performance of “Who Says,” a sweet self-empowerment anthem that had longtime fans singing along at the top of their lungs with a smile.
