This is so scary. A new report claims that Sinead O’Connor has been missing for almost 24 hours, and that the police have classified her as possibly ‘suicidal.’ Sinead O’Connor, 49, has reportedly gone missing while on a bike ride just outside of Chicago, Illinois. Sadly, the early 90’s pop icon is also reportedly being classified as ‘suicidal’ as authorities desperately search to find her before it’s too late. This is not the first time that Sinead’s life has been in danger, as reports claim that in November 2015 she left a suicidal note before finally seeking medical treatment. Where’s Sinead? The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer has been missing since approximately 1pm on Sunday, May 15, reports TMZ. The report claims that Sinead left her home in Wilmette, Illinois at that time but never returned. The police were notified and have been searching for her ever since. “The Wilmette Police is seeking to check the well-being of Sinead O’Connor,” Sergeant Michael Robinson tells HollywoodLife.com in a statement. “O’Connor reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6:00 AM and has not returned. A caller has expressed concerned for her well-being and no other information is available at this time.”

Sinead O'Connor, the Irish singer with a history of mental illness, went missing in a Chicago suburb for more than a day but has been located, according to the local police. Police in the village of Wilmette, Ill., north of Chicago, confirmed that O'Connor was found Monday, is no longer missing and is safe. The local paper, The Wilmette Beacon, also reported the news, and added that O'Connor has been staying with friends in Wilmette for several weeks. A check-for-well-being alert, sent out by police Sgt. Michael Robinson in Wilmette on Monday, said O'Connor, 49, went for a bike ride in the area on Sunday at 6 a.m. and did not immediately return.

Sinead O'Connor shared an alarming message just hours after she was found after being reported missing for 24 hours. The Irish-born singer took to Facebook on Monday night admitting that she suffered from "suicidal compulsion" and accused her family of abandoning her for wanting to kill herself. O'Connor went out on a bicycle ride on Sunday morning in a Chicago suburb and did not return, leading someone to call authorities to report her missing. She was later found in a hotel after a day-long search by authorities to check on her well-being. “None of you will ever see me again because of what you've done,” the post continued. If I manage not to kill myself, you'll be paying the medical costs which have been and will continue to be involved with that.”
