U.S. Secretary of State Blinken has pointed out that the attack on Israel by the Islamic group Hamas may have been aimed at disrupting negotiations to normalize diplomatic relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
"I would not be surprised if one of the motives was to thwart efforts to bring Saudi Arabia and Israel together," said Secretary of State Blinken.
