Elena Radionova (25), a women's figure skating bronze medalist at the 2015 World Championships, pointed out that the level of women's European championships has dropped significantly.
The tournament, which was held while Russia was excluded from international competitions, was won by Luna Hendricks (Belgium) with 213.25 points. Anastasia Gubanova from Russia and representing Georgia came in second place, and Nina Pinzarone (Belgium) came in third place.
Regarding this tournament, Radionova expressed harsh thoughts to the Russian media "Sports Express".
"Of course, the level of the European Championship Women has dropped significantly. It is obvious when you look at the scores and the program. To be honest, I did not watch this competition. For me it is more interesting to watch our own matches. "It's more interesting to watch Russia's domestic tournaments," she said.
