The royal couple are guests of honour at the Irish Guards' St Patrick's Day Parade in Aldershot, Hampshire, and we will be giving you live updates of the event as it unfolds. William will attend as colonel of the regiment and Kate will present traditional sprigs of shamrock to officers and guardsmen at the base. Of course we're all hoping Kate doesn't get her heel stuck in a drain again like last year. Following tradition, the Band of the Irish Guards will march on to the parade square at Mons Barracks followed by 300 soldiers. The Duchess of Cambridge passed out shamrocks to Irish guards at Aldershot for their annual Parade. Stunning in head-to-toe green, she pinned 300 shamrocks on the officers' uniforms while her hubby, dressed in his own military uniform, watched on proudly. The tradition of presenting shamrocks to the Irish Guards dates back to 1901 and has traditionally been performed by Queen Elizabeth II. Kate and William have happily assumed this royal role in recent years, though. After the parade, the royal couple retreated to the mess hall, where they posed for photos with officers and sergeants. They also visited the Guardsmens' cookhouse. It is matter of enormous privilege and pride to the Irish Guards that their Royal Highnesses the Colonel of the Regiment and the Duchess of Cambridge are visiting us today to present shamrock to the Battalion and to the London Regiment with which we are paired," Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Ed Boanas said.

Recent buzz suggested that the world might soon get a glimpse of a second royal baby, but according to Prince William, Prince George won’t be gaining a sibling anytime soon. When prompted by a solider at a St. Patrick’s Day military base celebration in Aldershot, southern England, on Monday to address the recent pregnancy rumors regarding his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, the British royal responded by confirming that the couple is not expecting their second (or, according to some reports, their third) child. “One’s enough at the moment,” the 31-year-old Duke of Cambridge revealed, according to AP. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, speaks to two girls at the St Patrick's Day Parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, southern England Monday. While William confirmed that Middleton, 32, is officially not with child, the royal did hint at another possibly pregnancy down the line. “Maybe one day,” teased the Prince, AP reported. According to Reuters, the royal couple attended the military base in honor of a St. Patricks’ Day Parade in which Prince William served as the colonel of regiment. In honor of the Irish celebration, Middleton sported a green trench coat while presenting the sprigs of shamrocks to the officers and guardsmen of the regiment while on parade.

Following the Thursday, March 20 news that Kate Middleton and Prince William chose Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo to be the nanny for their 7-month-old son Prince George, Us Weekly has uncovered more details about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's new hire. Borrallo, 43, grew up in Palencia, Spain, and was trained at London's Norland College. The institution specializes in nanny training, and is famous for its Mary Poppins-style uniforms. The college issued a congratulatory message to their former student, saying, "We wish her all the best for her new position." Middleton, 32, and Prince William, 31, recently started working with Borrallo in their new residence at Kensington Palace in London; Borrallo will accompany them on their family tour of Australia and New Zealand in April, a palace rep confirmed to Us on Thursday. "We will not be giving further details on Maria or her employment, except to say that the Duke and Duchess are of course delighted she has chosen to join them," the rep said at the time. Speaking from her home in northern Spain, her mother Maria Teresa Borrallo said: "I am very proud. On the personal front, and professionally, my daughter couldn't be better." Maria's brothers revealed that Prince George can also look forward to paella and Spanish omelette dinners if his new nanny has any say. Luis Borrallo, one of Maria Teresa's three brothers, said: "They're meals she has to have whenever she comes back to Spain." Confessing his delight she had been chosen for the prestigious post, he added: "I've very happy for her because she's worked hard to get where she has. Children are her life and her great passion."

Why are William and Kate so very happy at the moment? Well, they've sorted out one of their most pressing dilemmas when it comes to raising their young son, Prince George. We have the latest on the royal trio, plus a new look at one of Prince Harry's most daring adventures. Prince William and Kate Middleton have made an unexpected donation of £5,000 to the Rhyl Flood Appeal. Local residents of Rhyl, a seaside resort town on the north east coast of Wales, were severely affected by floods after a freak storm surge hit the area over three months ago. The victims of the Welsh town were clearly on William and Kate's minds as they made their pledge towards the fund. The region holds a special place for the royal couple as they were based nearby on the island of Anglesey for four years when William was an RAF pilot. "The Duke and Duchess realise that it is a long, slow and painful process for the many people displaced from their homes," a statement from Kensington Palace said. "And as a token of their support, and to show the people of Rhyl that they are in their thoughts, Their Royal Highnesses would like to make a personal donation to Rhyl Town Mayor's Flood Appeal." Local mayor Andrew Rutherford confirmed the donation and thanked William and Kate for their kind show of support. "I am delighted that the royal couple have taken the time to recognise that Rhyl was affected in the flooding and demonstrates their affiliation to places on the North Wales Coast," said Andrew. "It was a lovely and welcome surprise as well as a big boost to the Fund. Thank you William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
