Add Taylor Swift to the list of celebrities singing the praises of those who took part in the Women's March. The pop star — who remained notoriously tight-lipped about politics throughout election season — applauded the women and men who attended the global protests Saturday following President Trump's inauguration. "So much love, pride, and respect for those who marched. I'm proud to be a woman today, and every day," Swift tweeted Saturday evening. Swift, 27, never publicly disclosed her thoughts on the election, though she did share a Twitter photo of herself in line to cast her ballot last November and encouraged her fans to vote as well.

Taylor Swift made a super-sized singing splash as she took the stage at Houston’s Club Nomadic late Saturday night and sang her heart out until the wee hours of Super Bowl Sunday morning. According to the singer, this concert—kicking off a multi-year partnership with AT&T—will be her first and last gig of 2017. After completing a staggering 85 shows over seven months in 2015, Swift certainly deserves a break.
So what did Swift bring to her one and only 2017 concert? Oh, everything. Jewel-encrusted piano? Check. Sweat-drenched hair tosses? Check. And, most importantly for her fans, a mix of musical favorites old and new. Returning to her early, alt-country roots, Swift played 2008’s “You Belong With Me” noting that the theme of cheerleaders, bleachers, and athletes “felt appropriate” for a pre-Super Bowl concert.
Swift also played two songs live for the first time. For the Fifty Shades devotees out there, she rolled out an acoustic version of her not-very-steamy soundtrack collaboration with Zayn Malik: “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” (Swift had already shared this stripped-down, Zayn-less version with fans on YouTube which is why they were ready to sing along to the gentler version.)

There are countless Taylor Swift lookalikes on Instagram that might look just a little bit like the blonde singer. But this one is SO good – she even has Swifty’s fans fooled. She has her exact blonde side-swept fringe and her facial features are almost identical to Taylor’s. April Gloria is a cosplayer from Kansas that often takes to Instagram to pose for Taylor Swift-inspired selfies.

If you want to know something about Taylor Swift, you would apparently do well to ask Ed Sheeran. Sheeran is not only the male Sia but is also quite a font of information about Swift and her recent musical activities. She's been mostly silent since the whole Kardashian-Kanye incident, but that doesn't mean that she hasn't been working. If you see her less, she's doing more. That sort of thing. Sheeran spilled the beans on Swift's possible next album release when talking to the BBC just a few days ago. "Taylor [Swift] isn't going to be releasing until probably the end of this year — Christmas is the smartest time to release because that's when everyone buys records," he said. "So I've got a full year of just all Ed, all the time." Now, he's dropping hints that he may very well be a part of Swift's next album. On the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet, Sheeran said that he would "definitely" be collaborating with Swift.

Over a period of two days, on Feb. 15 and 16, a Nashville-based company called TAS Rights Management, LLC filed nine separate trademarks for the word "Swifties," according to publicly available documents, including one that covers "a website featuring non-downloadable audio recordings [and] video recordings." So, is Taylor Alison Swift getting into the streaming music business? Not so fast. The story, first reported by TMZ, that Swift would be launching her own competitor to the likes of Spotify and Apple Music is a juicy one, particularly given Swift's past history butting heads -- and then working repeatedly -- with Apple and withholding her music from Spotify. But a source confirmed to Billboard that she would not be launching a streaming service, and a closer look at the trademarks reveals a different, more probable, angle for the singer.
