In second place is WOGA's Audrey Davis with a 53.75 and third place is GAGE's Kara Eaker with a 53.6. We will update this article once all of the results are in. JUNIOR SESSION RESULTS The U.S. Classic is an important qualifying competition for juniors and seniors to earn a spot to compete at the P&G National Championships. Some gymnasts competing have already qualified through other means (such as being a member of the 2016 Olympic team or achieving the score at another international competition or at a domestic meet like the American Classic), but others are relying on this meet to qualify to Nationals. Juniors looking to qualify need to attain an all-around score of 50.5 at the U.S. Classic in order to advance. The U.S. Classic, held on Saturday in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, was the first chance to see the U.S. women all in one competition this season. None of the 'Final Five' team members competed elite this year, leaving plenty of room for new stars to emerge. While a number of all-arounders -- such as Ragan Smith, Riley McCusker, and Morgan Hurd -- didn't compete in the all-around, it was the first chance for some gymnasts to make a statement before nationals and put their names in the mix for one of the four spots at the the World Championships in October.
