A 26-year-old Charlotte artist now living in Great Britain offered some marital advice when she met Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, American Meghan Markle, on Thursday. “I told her I’m married to a British guy, just like she is going to be, and if she wants any tips about living here, I could give her some,” Haley Doolittle Johnston told People Magazine’s Royals edition. “She thought it was great. She is so welcoming. She just seemed so easy with the crowd.” Johnston posted videos on Facebook of her brief, friendly conversations with the royal pair. She had waited in a crowd for hours outside Cardiff Castle in Wales to meet them.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may seem like the most romantic royal pair around, however, it appears their first (and only) Valentine’s Day as an engaged couple will involve more work than pleasure. According to Kensington Palace, the couple will be continuing their royal tour of the United Kingdom by spending February 13, the day before Valentine’s Day, in Edinburgh, Scotland. There, Meghan and Harry will visit Edinburgh Castle, and will drop in to visit youth-run cafe Social Bite. After chowing down, Meghan and Harry will also attend a reception celebrating “youth achievement to mark Scottish Year of Young People at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.” No word yet on if the couple will actually stay the night and spend Valentine’s Day in Edinburgh, but if they do decide to stay we wouldn’t blame them. After all, the city is hundreds of years old and comes with plenty of old-world romantic charm.

This weekend, he ventured out with his fiancée, Meghan Markle, to see the Tony Award–winning musical that recently opened in London. Their attendance was confirmed by a cast member, who tweeted: “Was an honour to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in to watch @hamiltonwestend last night!” Ironically, Hamilton pokes fun at the British monarchy—Prince Harry’s ancestor King George III is written as a frivolous and out-of-touch character who acts as the comic relief for an otherwise intense musical. But surely he had a heads-up from Markle, who saw the show in New York with Hollywood BFF Priyanka Chopra.

Meghan Markle is reportedly getting ready to enjoy her bachelorette party on Mar. 4 with close friends at a secret five-star resort but two important people may not be there. Bride-to-be Meghan Markle, 36, is reportedly having a low-key bachelorette party at a heavily secured secret resort on Mar. 4 and she’ll be joined by some of her closest friends, according to the Daily Mail. The location for the celebration is largely believed to be at the luxury Oxfordshire resort Soho Farmhouse, a place Meghan was spotted at with last year with bridesmaid and Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, 28. Millie has reportedly gotten close with Meghan since she moved to the U.K. and will most likely be at the bachelorette party along with fashion designer friend Misha Nonoo and friend of Prince Harry, Violet von Westenholz. Meghan’s mom, Doria Radlan, 61, however, will not be there nor will the Duchess of Cambridge and soon-to-be sister-in-law Kate Middleton, 35, according to The Sun. Kate is said to have wanted to go but is seven months pregnant and needs to rest after some recent public appearances.

After Meghan Markle says “I do” to her prince next month, what will be her title as a member of the royal family? Although Meghan will be a princess of the U.K., she won’t be given an official princess title. Most insiders believe that if the Queen hands her grandson, Prince Harry, a royal dukedom, like Prince William received upon his 2011 wedding, he will be made the Duke of Sussex on his own wedding day. That would make Meghan the Duchess of Sussex, mirroring Kate’s title of the Duchess of Cambridge. When Kate Middleton married Prince William, the couple received their royal titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. As the next in line to the throne behind Prince Charles, William is expected to become the Prince of Wales — and Kate, therefore, the Princess of Wales — when Charles ascends the throne. (Princess Diana, of course, was previously the Princess of Wales.)
