Britney Spears returned to the stage in Las Vegas last night, and told her Twitter followers that she had a whale of a time back on the stage. The star is in the midst of her Piece of Me residency in Sin City, and the third leg kicked off in front of adoring fans yesterday (April 25). Writing on Twitter afterwards, she gushed: "Vegas THANK YOU for that warm welcome back. I'm buzzin!!!" She added: "See y'all tomorrow. Kisses and hugs and goodnight!" This latest leg encompasses eleven shows, and wraps up on May 17. After that, she's taking another hiatus until August 16 for Leg 4. All dates performed so far have been sell-outs, making the show one of the most successful in the history of Vegas residencies. The shows from the past two legs alone are thought to have been played to a total of over 70,000 fans; with a haul of around $10 million in ticket receipts. Dates have been confirmed and tickets released up to the end of September, with further shows to be confirmed soon. She is billed to continue at Planet Hollywood until the end of 2015.

The 32-year-old pop princess has been offered $12 million to extend her two-year residency at Planet Hollywood’s Axis theater, the Daily News has learned. A senior executive at Caesars Entertainment confirmed that casino honchos want Spears to continue her Las Vegas show until at least Christmas 2016. “Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not,” Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner told The News during the Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit Master Series dinner with Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis. “She has been filling out the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health.” Plus, Selesner added, Spears is living large in Sin City. “She has a good life, coming in on private jet,” Selesner added. Selesner admitted that his company took a “gamble” in inking Spears’ original deal — which runs until the end of 2015 and reportedly calls for the singer to earn $30 million over two years. But the bet has paid off handsomely. "You just didn't know what was going to happen,” Selesner told The News. “But the fans loved her. And she has so many fans from all over the world, that the support has been fantastic.” Britney Spears celebrates her official arrival at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Dec. 3 in Las Vegas.

Little known fact: ABC's "Sing Your Face Off," a summer series the network is apparently burning off at a rapid rate, is secretly the must-see experience of the summer. Lisa Rinna (“Days of Our Lives”) is one of five celebrities participating in “Sing Your Face Off,” an ABC talent competition premiering at 8 p.m. Saturday. Over the course of the series, the celebs have to transform themselves into various musical icons, including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Luciano Pavarotti and Tina Turner. Q: You portray Dolly Parton and Britney Spears. What was that like? A: Dolly Parton is my first one. Can you even imagine? Those were some big shoes to fill — as well as some other parts of the anatomy! [Laughs] But it was such a whirlwind. It was totally crazy, running from rehearsals to singing live with the band, to costume fittings to working on choreography. It was the most insane experience. But I loved it. It was challenging because you have to not only mimic the voice, but also the mannerisms, in order to capture the whole persona. Q: Before getting into this, had you met either Dolly or Britney? A: I never had met either one of them — ever. I’ve been around and have met a lot of people, but never those two. At this point [laughing] it’s probably better that I haven’t met them or know them. Q: What did your husband Harry Hamlin thing of this? A: Harry thought it was one of the greatest things. He was so excited. Of course he came and watched. He missed seeing me do Dolly live, but he did get to see me do Britney. Now realize I do the very young Britney, not Britney now. I do her at 14 — making it even more hilarious. I think I do it fine. Q: How were the judges? A: I loved Debbie Gibson. I must say, Richard Simmons and RuPaul are the highlights. You will not believe Richard Simmons as a judge. He creates some of the best television I’ve ever seen. Everyone was great, though. Of course, Darrell Hammond is a genius at becoming other people. Just think of all the characters he did on “Saturday Night Live.” So, who better than Darrell Hammond as a judge on a show like this? But, I was a little intimidated to do this in front of him the first time. Q: What was the biggest challenge creating your Dolly Parton? A: For Dolly it was the voice. Her voice is so very specific and iconic. Her mannerisms and the way she moves are also very specific, but for me it was capturing the voice — the quality of her voice. I’ll be honest. Dolly was hard. Q: And what was the toughest part of doing Britney Spears? A: The hardest thing about doing Britney was I had to be 14! That was really difficult of course. But I’m still a kid at heart! Also, there was a vocal thing with Britney too. My voice coach calls it a “creaky hinge” thing that she does with her voice. It’s very difficult to do — I can’t even tell you. It’s in every one of her songs. It’s like a little gravely thing and, trust me, it’s hard to mimic!

Britney Spears was photographed at the Stanley Cup Finals Game 2 watching the New York Rangers face off against the Los Angeles Kings last night and guess what? She’s back to being a blonde again! Spears was in a private box joined by boyfriend David Lucado and son Jayden James Federline looking like they were having a great time. At one point, Spears and her son were shown on the jumbotron during the game which we’re sure little Jayden got excited about that since it’s his mom who’s usually the one commanding the attention. Brit tried out a couple of different hairstyles this year so far, as she was both a brunette and redhead earlier in the year. But most of us who grew up with BritBrit know her as the blonde that topped the charts with ‘Oops…I Did It Again!’ and ‘Toxic’ so it’s nice to see her back to her old ways.
