Guest host Jennifer Aniston welcomed Selena Gomez, who gushed over the former “Friends” star and her character Rachel Green. Selena also divulged that after years of feeling like everyone seemed to be narrating her life for her, she finally took control and allowed herself to be vulnerable for her new album, "Rare."
What is the Rachel? It’s the haircut Jennifer Aniston’s character, Rachel Green, wore on your favorite show, Friends. It is voluminous and layered, and if all goes well in the stylist’s chair, your head comes out like a soft football arranged vertically. Or like your gorgeous locks are attacking your chin.
There are clues that the cut’s comeback is imminent: The Revlon One-Step, a piece of hairstyling equipment whose true soul mate is the Rachel, is back and more popular than ever. Friends is more popular than ever. Plus, it’s been over 20 years since the Rachel originally debuted (April 1995, “The One With the Evil Orthodontist”). Twenty years is the natural cycle of fashion and hair comebacks, so we’re due, and all those grown out lobs could really use some layers (The shag haircut is already back and the shag is the spiritual forbearer of the Rachel.)

Just in case you ever run into Niall Horan and have the urge to ask if he’s dating Selena Gomez…here’s some advice, just don’t. He’s REALLY getting annoyed by all the rumors! What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and we’ve all heard about those Niall Horan and Selena Gomez dating rumors and we are getting a bit exhuasted by all of them! However; no one is more sick of these rumors than Niall himself. He finally hammered the nail in the coffin this week about their relationship status, but we can’t forget that these hookup, relationship rumors started SOMEWHERE!

http://instagram.com/p/B9hcreuh62d Friends fan Selena Gomez paid homage to her favorite show and real-life friend Jennifer Aniston last week when she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show with her hair cut into the 2020 version of The Rachel. Gomez's hairstylist Marissa Marino confirmed that Rachel Green really was the inspiration behind Gomez's layered chop, along with Goldie Hawn's character from The First Wives Club. Marino wore on her Instagram, "hair inspo was 'The Rachel' meets Goldie Hawn in First Wives Club 😉" Gomez and Aniston spoke about their friendship and Gomez's love of Friends back in January when Gomez appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Aniston was guest-hosting. The women discussed how they met in a bathroom and what their friendship is like now. "You’ve always been so sweet," Aniston started. "You really are a genuine [Friends] fan. It’s amazing. We’ve known each other for years. You’ve been to my house. We’ve had pizza. Girl after my own heart, do we love a pizza or what? We love a pizza." "Yes, we do," Gomez added. "It’s so much fun. I was told that you recall us meeting for the first time in a bathroom," Aniston said. Gomez said yes, and Aniston asked her to remind her where.

Even if you pay close attention to the CDC's guidelines for how to keep healthy during this global coronavirus pandemic, it's always good to have a refresher course on proper hand-washing measures. On Saturday, Selena Gomez took part in the viral "Safe Hands" challenge. Gomez was nominated to do the challenge by Huffington Post co-founder and Thrive Global CEO, Arianna Huffington. http://instagram.com/p/B-A3PkSDOoU She starts the video off by saying she's washing her hands for 40 seconds, which is "The ABCs" twice. "Who would've thought, because I clearly wasn't washing my hands the right way," Gomez says. Even the most health-conscious person is likely nodding along to that statement right now. http://instagram.com/p/B9iCyl2j-uI In the video, Gomez is sure to rub the tips of her fingers in circles on the palms of her hands, which is supposed to help clean under the nails. She also mentions that this is important for anyone who has nails on the long side, like she does. "Sorry guys," she says laughing, when the soap makes that familiar, gross squishy noise between her hands. It's OK, Selena; we all hate that noise, too. "We can make it fun," she says as she continues to lather up her hands (this hand-washing thing does get boring after several seconds). She looks around the room. "Got my nana in here, got my dog." Everyone needs company while practicing good hygiene.

Selena Gomez hopped on Instagram Live multiple times last night to give fans an update on how she's doing as she quarantines with friends and her grandparents in her California home. And during her longest, 17-minute Live video, she made a major announcement to her millions of Instagram followers: She has a new dog now, named Daisy. "Winnie is here," she started, referencing her other dog that she got last year, "and I would like to introduce my new family member Daisy! Winnie and Daisy are getting along very well. And I know a few friends who are fostering right now just to give animals a safe place. But I couldn’t help it. I have to keep her. Right? You all go play," she told the dogs. Daisy is the littler one. "I got Daisy a week ago," Gomez said. "And she’s so sweet. And Winnie is like big brother mode for sure."
