 Olympic Champion 2014 in the team competition Yulia Lipnitskaya will not be able to perform at the championship of Russia on figure skating in Chelyabinsk due to an injury. This informs the official website of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia (FFKKR).  On Sunday Lipnitskaya sustained the injury of the hip and lumbar as she slipped on the pavement on her return to training. Doctors diagnosed Yulia bruised her hip joint and post-traumatic arthritis of the sacroiliac joint. The minimum duration of treatment in such injury ranges from 14 to 17 days.  Soon Lipnitskaya is expected to return to Moscow, where the treatment will take place before the end of the year. |
