Now that her highly-anticipated music video for “You Need to Calm Down” is finally out, Taylor Swift is using her Instagram to tease a different (but just as exciting) new project — her collaboration with Stella McCartney! http://instagram.com/p/BzQjirhjjeq The pop star, 29, posted a beachy selfie this morning rocking a printed sundress, her signature red lips and a pair of vintage-style, round sunglasses. She captioned the Instagram, “✌️Friday calmness✌️” and tagged Stella McCartney. http://instagram.com/p/BzLZElujGfb Swift announced her capsule launch with the British designer during an Instagram Live chat with fans earlier this month. She said the collection, releasing August 23, was inspired by her upcoming seventh studio album, Lover. “She’s been a friend for a really long time, and also just a woman I respect so much,” the “ME!” singer said of McCartney, 47. “I respect what she creates, how she creates it. There’s so much whimsy and imagination and romance to the clothing that she designs, and I’ve worn a lot of her stuff recently.”

It’s hard to calm down when Taylor Swift announces a new album. The Grammy winner, 29, told fans all the need-to-know details about her seventh album, called Lover, on Instagram Live on Thursday. And at midnight, she released the record’s second single, “You Need to Calm Down.” So far, fans have correctly put together many of the clues the pop star has been leaving leading up to the announcement. When asked about her album title, Swift told The Independent, “I think you’ll hear it once and see it twice.” Indeed: First single “ME!” includes the lyric “Baby doll, when it comes to a lover, I promise that you’ll never find another like me.” Both the lyric video and music video feature the word “lover” in the same cursive font as the album cover. In an argument scene at the beginning of the “ME!” music video, featured singer Brendon Urie of Panic! At the Disco telling Swift, “You need to calm down!” in French. It’s subtitled in English in the video: www.instagram.com/tv/Byq3vXpBNCd/instagram.fngo3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/vp/ae0608f592944b47b321bf75f238cd05/5D479221/t50.16885-16/10000000_2407693876131822_3970353573279039488_n.mp4?_nc_ht=instagram.fngo3-1.fna.fbcdn.net

Swifties still have a few more weeks to wait until Taylor Swift drops Lover, but the star gave some fans an extra-special treat in London on Friday by holding her first secret session for her upcoming album. After the top-secret listening party wrapped, fans rushed to social media to gush about the singer, 29, and her new music. “The album was AMAZING. So many amazing bops and also some true tearjerkers (archer who? ?),” wrote one fan. “I believe there’s something for everyone on that album. There’s some really stripped down stuff and some hardcore bops.” Other fans posted photos of gift bags and pins, and excitedly tweeted about snacking on heart-shaped rice crispy treats, cookies, candy and more.

Taylor seems to be so happy in her personal life, and I think that'll definitely show in Lover. Her previous album, Reputation, talked about the tentativeness and delicacy of a new relationship, and I think Lover will give us the Taylor Swift that's excited, more secure, and of course, in love. Lover follows the Reputation era. This Lover era Taylor is more active online, less secluded, and is even back to doing interviews. She's speaking in meme, stan language, and back to her funny, light-hearted self. I think that'll translate in the album and its lyrics. http://instagram.com/p/ByJzCNZDMgG Taylor has found her political voice. She's discovered the power of her platform and found a way to use it to advocate for human rights, while also condemning racism, discrimination, and other issues plaguing the country. Taylor even said herself the album will have "political undertones." http://instagram.com/p/Byz3uXZDDNV And with that political voice, she's already made a significant impact in society. I think this album will continue to push for equality and acceptance, especially for the LGBTQ community. The deluxe albums come with Taylor's ACTUAL journals over the years.

Taylor Swift‘s new interview with Vogue had plenty of revelations, but a preview of her upcoming title track has Swifties freaking out on social media about a secret the superstar might be keeping under wraps.
In the cover story, the fashion magazine shares lyrics from “Lover,” a song off Swift’s upcoming album that the writer describes as “romantic” and “haunting.”
“My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue / All’s well that ends well to end up with you,” Swift — who’s been dating British actor Joe Alwyn for nearly three years — sings on the track, according to Vogue.
As is wedding tradition, brides often wear something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue on their big day.
