Remember a few days ago when Hailey Baldwin was spotted out in Los Angeles with a visible neck tattoo? At the time, photos of Hailey’s ~fresh ink~ were too blurry to make out, but Dr. Woo just revealed an up-close look at his handiwork and it, um, seems familiar. Here’s the tattoo in question: http://instagram.com/p/B19q5iXHd74 Hailey’s tattoo says “Lover” in almost the exact same font as Taylor Swift’s album. Which is surprising for many reasons, the least of which that Taylor and Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber, are *not* getting along right now and just publicly confronted each other on Instagram about the part Justin played in Scooter Braun bullying Tay. It was a whole THING, and Hailey definitely supported her man in the comments of his post. http://instagram.com/p/BzWbFkOl4p3

Taylor Swift flips the gendered script on “The Man,” which strutted into the Billboard Hot 100 just this week (Sept. 3). She’s proven she’s the “alpha type” by snatching 18 spots on the chart with the entire track list of Lover.
On “The Man,” Swift sings about how her “power moves” wouldn’t be questioned if she were a man, rattling off the privileges of the demographic she could’ve savored.
I would be complex I would be cool They'd say I played the field before I found someone to commit to And that would be okay For me to do Every conquest I had made Would make me more of a boss to you
I'd be a fearless leader I'd be an alpha type When everyone believes ya What's that like?
I'm so sick of running As fast as I can Wondering if I'd get there quicker If I was a man And I'm so sick of them Coming at me again 'Cause if I was a man Then I'd be the man I'd be the man I'd be the man

When Taylor Swift announces she has a new album on the way, every other artist typically tries to schedule their releases around her, because by now, nobody can beat the singer-songwriter. It’s now longer a question of whether or not she will debut her new set at No. 1, but how large the first week will be and what records will she match or possibly even break when all is said and done. Lover opens atop the Billboard 200 this frame with just shy of 870,000 equivalent units, easily enough to secure her not just the No. 1 spot this week but the largest opening frame (and sales week in overall) of the year. Beyond that success, the title managed some truly incredible things as it debuted, helping Swift show how powerful she remains in an environment in which full albums are having trouble staying relevant. Here are three ways Taylor Swift’s Lover made history on the Billboard 200 upon arrival. Tied For The Most No. 1 Album Debuts In A Row Among Women In addition to being Swift’s sixth No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Lover is also her sixth leader in a row, and that distinction is important. With half a dozen back to back chart champions, the former country favorite ties Beyoncé as the woman with the most consecutive No. 1 debuts. Both artists have managed six rulers (when looking solely at releases marketed under their solo moniker), and chances are they will both earn a seventh whenever they have new music.

Taylor Swift turned the City of Love into the "City of Lover" on Monday night (Sept. 9), playing three of her recent album's tracks for the first time ever live at Paris’ L’Olympia Bruno Coquatrix. She performed live debuts of “Death By A Thousand Cuts," “Cornelia Street" and the feminist anthem “The Man,” as well as smash hit “You Need To Calm Down,” “The Archer” and the album’s title track. "It's like a song is my photograph, so I can go back and remember what it was like to experience it," she told the crowd before diving into the heart melting "Cornelia Street," rumored to be about the NYC apartment she rented in 2016 around the same time she met current boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Tickets for the "City of Lover" concert were not for sale, but were won through contests worldwide.

Swift has a close relationship with her mother, Andrea Swift. She cares for her well-being so much that her Christmas present one year was a full health screening. Unfortunately, as a result of those tests in 2015, Andrea was diagnosed with cancer. http://instagram.com/p/B1wVp5UjoRx This year, Swift revealed that her mother’s cancer had relapsed, and they were again dealing with the diagnosis. To make matters worse, Swift’s father also has cancer, although his isn’t as serious as Andrea’s. In an essay for Elle, Swift described the impact her parent’s health scares have had on her. “I’ve had to learn how to handle serious illness in my family,” she wrote as part of an essay about 30 things she learned before turning 30. “Both of my parents have had cancer, and my mom is now fighting her battle with it again. It’s taught me that there are real problems and then there’s everything else. My mom’s cancer is a real problem. I used to be so anxious about daily ups and downs. I give all of my worry, stress, and prayers to real problems now.” ‘Soon You’ll Get Better’ is about their struggle Lover, Swift’s latest album, was just released last month and it includes a very personal song. “Soon You’ll Get Better,” featuring the Dixie Chicks, is about her parent’s struggle with cancer, and her struggle to support them through it. During a YouTube Live session before the album’s release, Swift revealed that it was the hardest song for her to write. “I think songs like that are really hard for you to write emotionally,” she said, “maybe they’re hard to write and hard to sing because they’re really true.”
