Billie Eilish - bad guy (with Justin Bieber) It looks like Billie Eilish is slowly making her dreams come true one celeb at a time. After collaborating with Justin Bieber for a “bad guy” remix, Eilish is crossing another dream off her list after meeting Avril Lavigne. Eilish performed in Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre on Thursday, July 11. It was there that she finally came face-to-face with one of her idols. http://instagram.com/p/Bz1GZZJFvG4 Taking to Instagram, Eilish shared the iconic moment with her fans with the caption, “THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME WHAT I AM.” “Avril Lavigne was everything to me, dude” Eilish recently revealed in Pitchfork‘s “Over/Under” segment. “I love Avril Lavigne. I only love her. There’s nothing else there. Just love. Only love. There’s like almost no artists like that. Like Avril Lavigne and Justin Bieber, I only love. Like her, Tyler, Gambino and Bieber, to be honest, made me. I would not be… And Lana, probably. Yeah. There’s no way.”

Slime-haired singer Billie Eilish has landed her first major style campaign, starring in MCM’s “genderless” fall 2019 ads alongside rapper-producer Childish Major in outfits that, according to the brand’s press release, “[show] how cultural fluidity defines modern style.” In the images, photographed by Lea Colombo, the 17-year-old “Bad Guy” hitmaker poses in logo-printed bucket hats, an oversized fanny pack and more unisex styles. “I love to glorify the things that make people uncomfortable,” Eilish shared in the release. “We’re so used to one way of living that we think other peoples’ lifestyles are wrong — sometimes automatically, without even thinking. I want to mess with what people are used to. I want to be that other.”

The track concurrently tops Alternative Songs for a second week. Billie Eilish's breakout 2019 adds another chart milestone, as "Bad Guy" hits No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart, dated Aug. 17. The track (released on Darkroom/Interscope and remixed last month with Justin Bieber, with the duet version scoring pop radio play along with the original) is Eilish's first Pop Songs No. 1 and second entry on the chart. It debuted on April 27, a month after her "When the Party's Over" bowed. Both singles scaled the chart through mid-June, when "Party" peaked at No. 17 and promotional efforts segued to "Bad Guy." The songs are from Eilish's debut LP When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which launched as her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in April and has spent three weeks at the summit to date.

Lil Nas X’s viral hit “Old Town Road” is no longer the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100, after a record breaking 19-week tenure in the top slot. Billie Eilish’s “bad guy” dethroned the track, making it her first No. 1 single. Lil Nas X took to Twitter to congratulate Eilish on the achievement, writing, “congratulations to billie eilish!! u deserve this!!” Billy Ray Cyrus also tweeted in praise of Eilish. “Congratulations @billieeilish,” he wrote. “Well deserved. Your persistence paid off. Thanks everybody. It was a hell of a ride.” Back in July, the When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? single received a remix from Justin Bieber. “Old Town Road” became the longest running No. 1 song in history when hit the 17-week mark in July, breaking the previous record of 16 weeks shared by “One Sweet Day” (by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men) and “Despacito” (by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, featuring Justin Bieber). It made headlines back in March, when it was removed from the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, despite possessing many sonic and verbal qualities in common with country music (lyrics about horse-riding, hats, etc). The single’s popularity only increased in the months following, however.

What you probably think of when I say “Billie Eilish”: music, her cool style, and maybe “Bad Guy” (duh). What likely doesn’t come to mind: flowy-haired brides who look like they could be marrying Timothée Chalamet in Little Women. Glance at V magazine’s latest issue, though, and your mind could change. In honor of the mag’s 20th anniversary, it nabbed Billie as a cover star, but instead of dressing her in her usual rotation of tracksuits and baggy clothes, they gave her a distinctly more anachronistic outfit. http://instagram.com/p/B1WLD6oHVil As Seventeen first pointed out, Billie appears on the cover dressed in a Victorian-era bridal look, complete with a bouquet of wedding-worthy lilies. According to editor and fashion stylist for the shoot Alex White, Billie’s actually wearing a Gucci cape, top, and pants along with a Bulgari necklace and a Tiffany & Co. ring. http://instagram.com/p/B1WUCTwHBan
