Symonds, the Prime Minister's girlfriend, has backed a group of British schoolchildren who are at the forefront of plans to buy a section of rainforest in Ecuador to protect endangered animals at risk from deforestation.
Miss Symonds praised the "inspiring" young people, who are following the lead of Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg, and welcomed the “next generation of environmental campaigners”.
The eco warriors, some as young as eight, are on a mission to "set an example" to adults and politicians by taking part in environmental pursuits - from setting up butterfly sanctuaries in their playhouses to buying a rainforest.

The pet photo op is top of the list of required photo opportunities for public figures. You cannot overstate how good a dog is for your brand in 2019 (it’s better than a small child because they’d have to be pixelated) and Carrie managed to combine the dog welcome with a clear message about her own support for anti-puppy farming legislation. On top of all that, for some reason we-the-public find the chaos...
Carrie Symonds is the girlfriend of Boris Johnson who caught attention as she arrived at Aberdeen Airport in Scotland. She was spotted arriving ahead of a dinner with Boris and the Queen at her holiday home of Balmoral. Carrie showed off her style in the thick tweed shift dress which cut off just above her knees. She prepared for the changing seasons with a pair of black tights and black boots.
As Carrie gets ready to meet the Queen, she opted for a stylish look wearing a blue and white shift dress.
She opted for transitional style with a dress in a thick material.
The oversized look had an open collar with a silver zip which she had partially undone.
