People freak out all the time when they meet Taylor Swift. But imagine being her biggest fan and then finding out that she's going to be your Mega Mentor on The Voice -- that's what goes down in a sneak peek at Swift's run on the NBC reality singing competition. This is the second go-round for Swift as a Mega Mentor on the Emmy-winning show, where she first lent a hand in season 7.
Monday night's (Oct. 28) episode will wrap up the Battles before switching over to the Mega Mentor portion, during which each artist will be paired with a teammate and select their own songs to sing, with Swift helping all four coaches and their teams by providing feedback and suggestions as each singer prepares for their performance.
In the preview, Taylor and Kelly Clarkson meet up backstage and Kelly reminds Taylor that she's done this before, to which Swift replies, "But not with you!" Rocking a sparkly black suit, Taylor meets Team Kelly's Jake Hoot, who just happens to be one of her biggest fans. "Being able to work with you? You can't put it into words," he says, with his sister mentioning that they all have matching Fearless tats.

Artists who advance from this round will compete in the Live Playoffs. The Knockouts continued Tuesday night on NBC's The Voice season 17 with Taylor Swift offering guidance to the remaining artists. Coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani also helped prepare their artists for their solo performances. They had one steal each for this round. Team John’s James Violet and Khalea Lynee were up first. Lynee sang "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion, and she showcased impressive range and a strong lyric interpretation. Violet sang "Stay" by Post Malone and did a few more interesting things with the arrangement. Shelton gave the edge to Lynee, and that’s who Legend ultimately went with. Violet went home, and it was a bit surprising that no one tried to steal him. Team Gwen followed with a Knockout from Jessie Lawrence and Kyndal Inskeep. Going first, Inskeep sang "Elastic Heart" by Sia. It was an ambitious song choice that requires vast range and power. Swift worked with Inskeep in rehearsal, aiding in her final performance being very tight and ultimately showcasing some of the best singing of the evening. Lawrence sang "Dancing With a Stranger," delivering a solid performance, but it was a pretty clear decision here. Stefani went with Inskeep, and Lawrence went home. Team Blake delivered the last Knockouts of the night. Joana Martinez sang "California Dreamin'," and Swift worked with her on her stage presence. The 15-year-old artist delivered a solid performance. Martinez was up against Ricky Duran, who sang The Black Crowes' "She Talks to Angels," to which he had a personal connection. It came through in his performance as he sang well on a technical and emotional level.

In a sneak peek clip of Monday night's episode, Swift, this season's Mega Mentor, breaks down in tears while watching rehearsals for Team Kelly Clarkson's duo, Hello Sunday. The duo, which is compromised of 14-year-old friends Chelsea and Myla, opt to sing Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes' 2013 track, "Almost Is Never Enough."
"Oh my god, I'm fully crying," Swift tells Clarkson following the girls' performance. "I don't know why. It's just really, really great."
"When I started out, I was 10 or 11 years old singing for people," Swift adds in a confessional. "But seeing young performers, who so firmly have their musical identity figured out, I was completely shattered by it. I fully fell apart. It was that good."
Alex Guthrie, whom Hello Sunday will compete against in the knockout round, is certainly a little nervous after watching Swift's reaction to the teens.
"Hello Sunday brought Taylor Swift to tears. I definitely have my work cut out for me," he says. "They're really talented beyond their years."

The Knockout Rounds are back this week on NBC’s The Voice, and much to the delight of the contestants, so is Mega Mentor Taylor Swift.
In the exclusive clip above, the remaining singers share their reactions to meeting the famous singer-songwriter, who first appeared in last Monday’s episode and will wrap up her mentor sessions with Tuesday’s installment.
Rose Short of Team Gwen gushed, “She was looking good, she had that bad suit on. I hugged her, it felt like money. It was just amazing.”
“I’m not one to get star-struck, but there’s famous, and then there’s Taylor Swift famous,” Team Kelly’s Alex Guthrie shared.
Similarly, Kat Hammock and Lauren Hall of Team Blake squealed with delight as they walked into the room, where coach Blake Shelton joked, “I have a feeling that’s not for me. They never react like that when it’s just me.” To that, Swift quipped, “No, it’s your outfit. It’s incredible.”
