Taylor Swift has announced a brand new tour in support of her new album Lover. She’ll be heading out on an international trek in June 2020, playing shows throughout Europe and South America before heading to North America. Her only 2020 U.S. dates are Lover Fest West (a two-date run at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium) and Lover Fest East (a two-date run at Foxborough, Massachusetts’ Gillette Stadium). According to a press release, she will be the first woman in history to open an NFL Stadium. Find her itinerary below and ticketing information on her website. Taylor Swift was widely expected to tour in 2020, following this year’s release of “Lover,” as she traditionally has in the year after she puts an album out. The following weekend, July 31 and August 1, Swift’s show switches coasts to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Taylor Swift’s banner at Staples Center isn’t coming down but it will no longer be seen during Kings home games. Before their home opener against the Nashville Predators on Saturday, the Kings covered Swift’s “most sold out performances” banner and will continue to do so. Staples Center president Lee Zeidman said there are no plans to remove the banner and the decision to cover it during Kings games was made solely by the team. The banner, which was raised Aug. 21, 2015, after her record 16th sold-out concert at Staples Center, has been an eyesore for many Kings fans. They don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Kings have failed to win a playoff series since the banner went up. The Kings won the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014 as well as advanced to the conference finals in 2013. They finished with the worst record in the Western Conference and second worst in the league last season. “The connection to our fans is our highest priority and through our engagement they have made it clear that the banner shouldn’t be part of their Kings game experience,” said Michael Altieri, senior vice president of marketing, communications and content for the Kings and AEG Sports. “We didn’t see an issue in covering it for our games and in fact see it as an opportunity to show our fans that we hear them.”

LOVER FEST “For me, the Lover album is open fields and sunsets and SUMMER,” Swift said in her Instagram post. “I want to celebrate the album and perform it live with you in a way that feels authentic to the music.” Swift will only be playing four shows in the U.S. She has a two-night stint in Los Angeles called Lover Fest West, and another two-night stint in Foxborough, Ma. called Lover Fest East. The other eight dates she announced are outside of the U.S. She’ll hit several countries in Europe and then head to Brazil before finishing off in the U.S. Several of these dates will be at festivals, which Swift said she’s looking forward to. “I want to go to some places I haven’t been, and play festivals for the first time in ages…and where we didn’t have festivals, we made some,” Swift said in her Instagram post . She is referring to Lover Fest West and Lover Fest East. Her Los Angeles show on July 25 and July 26 will be at the new NFL field SoFi Stadium. According to Rolling Stone, she will be making history as the first woman in history to open an NFL stadium. TICKETS ARE GOING FAST These 12 dates are the only ones listed so far, but her post indicates there are more to come. Tickets for those who were previous Taylor Swift Tix Verified Fans went on sale on Oct.14. The public on-sale took place on Oct.17, and there are still some available on Ticketmaster. http://instagram.com/p/B2hAIecjv5J These tickets were obviously in high demand, and each person could get up to six tickets per person in the pre-sale. Being a verified fan allows people to buy Swift’s tickets early and at her set price. It aims to keep people from buying large amounts of tickets and reselling them for double the price on second hand sites. However, it seemed to be a slow process as fans tweeted their displeasure at Ticketmaster. Fans entered a queue where some waited over an hour before they could purchase tickets.

She dropped her hit new album Lover back in August and announced she'll be doing a festival tour, dubbed 'Lover Fest,' instead of a longer world tour. And on Thursday, Taylor Swift hinted that the reason for the shortened tour was due to her mother Andrea Swift's health. Andrea was diagnosed with cancer in 2015. In an interview with Zane Lowe, Swift, 29, said she needed to be as close to home as possible. I've got some pretty intense things happening with my family right now,' she said. 'I can't go on a long tour that I can't go home to my family for,' the star added.
