Ozzy Osbourne has postponed his Oct. 6 concert at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View due to a medical situation. The heavy metal hero, known for both his work with the legendary Black Sabbath and in his own multi-platinum-selling solo career, reportedly needed to have surgery on his hand.  “The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter is being treated for an infection, which required surgery on his hand this morning (Saturday, October 6),” according to a news release. “Osbourne will spend a couple of days at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles where he’ll remain under doctor’s care as they monitor the infection.” The Shoreline show, which is part of Osbourne’s No More Tours 2 farewell tour as well as this year’s 107.7 The Bone Presents Bone Bash XVIII concert, has been postponed to Oct. 16.  |

"Take What You Want" is Osbourne's first top 10 since his Lita Ford duet "Close My Eyes Forever" in 1989. Iconic rocker Ozzy Osbourne makes history on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Sept. 21), ending the longest break between top 10 hits in the chart's archives. As previously reported, Osbourne debuts at No. 8 as featured, with Travis Scott, on Post Malone's "Take What You Want." The song marks Osbourne's first top 10 in more than 30 years.  The track appears on Post Malone's new LP Hollywood's Bleeding, which launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Osbourne earns his second Hot 100 top 10 and ties his best rank: "Close My Eyes Forever," with Lita Ford, hit No. 8 in 1989. |

The "Prince of Darkness" will keep things "dark" when it comes to his rescheduled 2020 "No More Tours 2" North American dates. That's because Marilyn Manson will be the special guest joining Ozzy Osbourne for the run.
These are Osbourne's first shows since he was forced to postpone his tour earlier this year to heal from injuries sustained in a fall and recover from a nasty bout of pneumonia. Osbourne had started the "No More Tours 2" run with Stone Sour supporting, but as Corey Taylor has returned to Slipknot for the time being, a new special guest was needed. Enter Manson.
"Marilyn is killer live," Osbourne says, humorously adding, "He's so fucking out there, and if I think that, then look out, we're all fucked."
Manson commented, "I've toured with Ozzy many times and it's always been fucking spectacular. I'm honored to do it again. This is one not to miss."
The North American tour leg is expected to resume on May 27 in Atlanta.
Osbourne has also rescheduled his European touring with Judas Priest joining the band on the run. More info about the European dates can be found here.

Ozzy Osbourne - Ordinary Man (Audio) ft. Elton John
Sir Elton John, the “Rocketman,” and Ozzy Ozbourne, the “Prince of Darkness,” have been friends for decades, working together on past projects such as “Gnomeo and Juliet.” The pair has now teamed up in the studio (as first revealed by Sharon Osbourne on “The Talk”) for a new project — John played the piano and sang on Osbourne’s newly released ballad, “Ordinary Man.” The song is the title track for his album, which has a February 21, 2020 release date.

“When I was writing ‘Ordinary Man,’ it reminded me of an old Elton song and I said to Sharon, ‘I wonder if he would sing on it?’” Osbourne said in a statement. “We asked and lo and behold, he agreed and sings and plays piano on the song.”  In fact, John sings an entire verse of the song, which you can listen to on Osbourne’s official YouTube channel. |
