The Nine Lives of Ozzy was produced by A&E as part of their ongoing Biography series, while former Osbournes producer R. Greg Johnston directed the film. In addition to the subject himself, the documentary features an array of celebrities reflecting on the rocker's lasting impact.
“I don’t know what music would be like if it weren’t for the influence of Ozzy,” famed record producer Rick Rubin declares in the trailer. “Ozzy changed everything.”
“You can’t say that anyone is immortal, but I think that Ozzy is in a timeless zone,” shock-rocker Marilyn Manson adds. Rolling Stone reports that Rob Zombie, Ice-T, Post Malone and Korn’s Jonathan Davis are also featured in the film, along with Osbourne’s wife Sharon and children, Jack and Kelly.

Rock star Ozzy Osbourne has revealed he has Parkinson's disease. The Black Sabbath singer, 71, told US TV show Good Morning America he has a "mild form" and found out about it after suffering a fall last February. Wife Sharon said: "It's not a death sentence but it affects certain nerves in your body. You have a good day, a good day, then a really bad day." Ozzy added it was hard to tell whether the numbness symptoms he had were from the Parkinson's or the fall. The singer said: "It's been terribly challenging for us all. "I did my last show [on] New Year's Eve (2018). Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves." He said he was now on medication for Parkinson's and nerve pain following the surgery he had after his fall. Rumours had been circulating about his health, but Ozzy said: "I'm no good with secrets. I cannot walk around with it any more 'cause it's like I'm running out of excuses, you know?"

Ozzy Osbourne is hoping his health won't prevent his farewell tour from taking place as planned.
"This last year has been hell for me," he said during CBS' Grammy Red Carpet Live program. "I've had surgery on my neck. I've announced to the world that I've got Parkinson's. It's been one rock 'n' roll year for me.”
Osbourne revealed last week that he has PRKN 2, a form of Parkinson's disease. It was discovered while he was recovering from a fall that dislodged metal rods in his neck that were placed there in 2003 following an ATV accident. Osbourne postponed the entirety of his 2019 tour and, while he initially planned to return to the road on May 27, he admitted he may not be physically up to the challenge.
"If I'm well enough, I'll work towards it," he said. "I'm having physical therapy every day, five days a week. I'm trying, doing the best I can. Neck surgery's not easy."
"Seeing how far Dad's come this year and how far he's come in the last week alone has just been incredible," daughter Kelly, who was at Ozzy's side at the Grammys last night, noted. "I think coming out and telling his truth has been a weight lifted off of his shoulders. And even his physical therapist is saying how far you have moved forward in this last week is insane."
Osbourne plans to tour in support of his upcoming album, Ordinary Man, which will be released Feb. 21. The title track features Osbourne singing with Elton John and guitar work by Slash.

Ozzy Osbourne had to forgo his tour because of health issues, but he's still releasing new music.
The 71-year-old rocker has dropped his first solo album in almost a decade, "Ordinary Man." Osbourne this week canceled North American dates of "No More Tours 2."
The album features collaborations with Elton John, Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, and Post Malone, with whom Osbourne dueted on the rapper's tune "Take What You Want" last year.
To celebrate the release, Osbourne held a massive tattoo sale and album-listening event across 50 cities worldwide Thursday. Fans previewed the album and were the first to choose from exclusive Ozzy-inspired tattoo designs.
