Carly Rae Jepsen has shared the music video for her Dedicated song “Want You in My Room.” It’s directed by Andrew Donoho. The bright, pastel-filled clip is set in a bedroom, the beach, and more. Watch below. Jepsen’s new video follows visuals for Dedicated’s “Now That I Found You,” “Too Much,” and bonus cut “Party for One.”

Carly Rae Jepsen’s latest music video is here and it’s delightful. She’s back, dancing in her underwear to “Want You in My Room,” off her album Dedicated. (It’s a Jack Antonoff-produced track because it’s 2019 and of course it is.) She’s got her saxophonist dressed up as a sentient giant plant.
She’s got a sheer blue robe that serves excellent animated-Olivia Newton John-as-an-animated-Sandy-in-the-opening-credits-of-Grease vibes. (Andrew Donoho directed the video.)
She’s got a pink Google Home — excuse me, Google Home Mini — she uses to set a one-hour timer at the beginning of the video, while she preps for a hot date. Said prep happens in her bedroom, at the beach, and, uh, at the park. Because she’s Carly Rae Jepsen and she contains glittery, pastel multitudes. Hey Google, play “Want You in My Room.”

Critical darling and ‘queen of feeling too much’ Carly Rae Jepsen has announced two Australian sideshows while she’s here for Sandtunes Festival in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, also playing in Sydney and Melbourne. Jepsenwill play Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Tuesday 26 November and Monday 2 December, respectively. It’s off the back of her fourth album Dedicated, a ’70s disco-infused delight we rate as one of 2019’s best albums so far. At Sandtunes, she’ll be joined by Travis Scott, Logic, Juice WRLD, CHVRCHES and local legends Cub Sport and Sampa The Great, with more to be announced. Tickets are on sale for both shows Thursday September 26 from 2pm AEST at Ted Dainty’s site. Since this is her first Australian tour, we imagine they’ll go quick.
