Elena Radionova: 2015 Russian National Champion

Russian figure skater Elena Radionova in an interview with YouTube Channel Sport-Express said that she faced a negative from the fans of Alina Zagitova because she pointed out the mistake of the Olympic champion.



Radionova remembered how during the broadcast, while working as a commentator, she saw that Zagitova didn’t screw up one of the jumps, but the judges refused to deduct it as a mistake. “A squall of negative has spilled on me:“ But you don’t understand anything at all in figure skating, you just don’t like her, you are a loser, ”the athlete said.



The figure skater noted that she didn’t pay attention to these “nonsense”. She also said that the comments from the fans did not make her panic.



In November 2018, Zagitova’s fans turned against the Olympic champion Maxim Trankov, who said that everyone at the 2018 Games did not support her but Evgenia Medvedeva, who eventually became the second. Irina Slutskaya and Elizaveta Tuktamysheva were also harassed.



Zagitova won the Olympics in Pkhenchkhane, and a year later won the World Cup. The athlete is currently 17 years old.
