James Middleton and Alizee Thevenet are enjoying their first public outing as an engaged couple! Nearly two weeks after Kate Middleton’s younger brother announced that he had popped the question, the pair stepped out in London on Thursday to attend the premiere of Apple’s new documentary, The Elephant Queen. James, 32, and Alizee, 29, looked blissful together on the red carpet as they posed arm-in-arm and smiled for the cameras. For the outing, James wore a white shirt with a navy jacket, jeans, and a pair of brown shoes. His new fiancée also kept it casual in a white shirt with a matching white skirt and a maroon corduroy blazer. Alizee also wore a pair of black boots and left her long blonde locks down at her shoulders.

James Middleton commemorated the one year anniversary of his proposal to Alizee Thevenet with an adorable Instagram post. Middleton and Thevenet were due to tie the knot this summer, but were forced to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic. http://instagram.com/p/CEuV-oMA4To "I can’t wait to take on whatever the future holds for us," Kate Middleton's brother wrote in the caption. James Middleton may have had to postpone his wedding to Alizee Thevenet on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that doesn't mean he isn't still smitten with his fiancée. http://instagram.com/p/CERs_feA3lM Sharing several photos and a video slideshow from a recent trip on Instagram, Middleton wrote, "It’s a year since I asked Alizee to marry me 💍 … what a year it’s been! Two homes 🏡 lockdown 🔐 two attempts at a wedding🤵👰❌, a litter of 🐶, launching of new company @ella.co 🐾 a beard shave 🪒 and much more but the best part is that I get to share it with you @alizeethevenet and I can’t wait to take on whatever the future holds for us ✨." He continued, "We managed to escape to Italy ⛵️for a quick dip in the the sea, lots of 🍝&🍷 and now ready to face the world again- thank you @theclassicyachtexperience for the most unforgettable experience ⛵️❤️." http://instagram.com/p/CCBc111g9r3 Because of the continuing pandemic, Middleton and Thevenet made the difficult decision to postpone their nuptials. An insider previously told Daily Mail journalist Richard Eden, "Holding an AngloFrench wedding is impossible in the coming months and is still likely to be difficult in the summer. They would prefer to wait until all their guests are able—and happy—to attend."

Towards the end of last year, Prince William and Kate Middleton announced the very sad news that their family dog, Lupo, had passed away. The Cambridges are real animal lovers (as are William's brother, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle) and they confirmed in a rare, personal Instagram post that the news was a real blow. http://instagram.com/p/CDCHJ5RAZvI However, quite movingly, a part of Lupo will still live on in their home – as William and Kate secretly welcomed a new puppy during lockdown, who is part of the same bloodline. Their new addition, Lupo's nephew, also came to them via somebody very close to the family; none other than Kate's brother, James Middleton, who is a real canine fanatic (having even founded his own dog food brand, Ella & Co). They managed to keep the news hush-hush until recently though, until royal reporter Emily Andrews, while writing for the Daily Mail, revealed that they initially welcomed the new pup into their home thinking that it could keep their beloved Lupo company, instilling him with some "more life and energy". Unfortunately, the two dogs were only able to spend a few months together before Lupo sadly died. A source, cited as a friend of the family, is quoted as saying: "They were devastated when Lupo passed away, as any dog owner will understand, but got the new puppy before he died. It was hoped that a younger dog would give Lupo some company and give him a little more life and energy." http://instagram.com/p/CK6s3MBAHBZ This content is imported from Instagram.
