The 35-year-old retired tennis star shared a rare photo with the 41-year-old singer on Instagram. The longtime couple were all smiles as they posed with Kournikova's half-brother, Allan Kournikova.
Kournikova, who celebrated her birthday Tuesday, captioned the snapshot with heart, kissy face and balloon emojis. The former tennis pro had shared a clip of herself dancing to Iglesias' song "Duele el Corazon" in May.
Kournikova and Iglesias have been an on-again, off-again couple since 2001. The tennis star appears to be wearing a large gold wedding ring in several posts despite the pair's previous ambivalence toward marriage.
"I'm not against marriage, not at all, but when you've been with someone for such a long time, I don't think it's going to bring us any closer together," Iglesias told CBS This Morning in 2014. "I do not think it's going to make us any happier."
They met on the set of Spanish singer's Escape music video in 2001. And on Friday evening tennis ace Anna Kournikova, 35, made it clear she has no intentions of fleeing her long-time relationship with Enrique Iglesias, 41, as the two shared tender moments while leaving The Palm restaurant in Beverly Hills.
As the besotted coupled made their way to an SUV, the Bailamos hitmaker held his darling close, holding her delicate hand as he ferried her through a throng of fans.
“#happynewyear,” the former professional tennis player, 38, captioned the rare Thursday, January 2, Instagram video of Nicholas and Lucy.
In the footage, the toddlers ran side by side across a lawn with Iglesias’ “Finally Found You” playing in the background. The singer’s daughter wore a white top, striped leggings and purple shoes, while her brother rocked a Nike tee, black shorts and Crocs. The darling duo appeared to be chasing a drone before stopping at a fence and watching it go.
Kournikova and the Grammy winner, 44, welcomed their little ones in December 2017 after keeping the athlete’s pregnancy completely private. The couple shared the first photo of their infants the following month.
The pair have been dating since meeting in 2001 on the set of Iglesias’ “Escape” music video. Although Kournikova wears a yellow diamond on her ring finger and the actor referred to her as his “wife” during a concert in 2017, he claims they haven’t made their marriage official.
“We’re just as happy,” Iglesias told The Sun that same year. “There comes a point when you’ve been with someone for a certain amount of time and I believe that you are like, married. I guess the only difference is that we haven’t walked down the aisle.”
Congratulations are in order for Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova!
The 44-year-old singer and the 38-year-old tennis star have welcomed their third child. The Grammy winner confirmed the news on Instagram Thursday with a sweet snap of himself holding the family's newest addition, which arrived in January. "My Sunshine 01.30.2020," he wrote online, the same as Anna's caption for a photo of herself holding their newborn and smiling.
Enrique's brother, Julio Iglesias Jr., hinted at the big news during a recent interview with the Chilean radio station ADN.
"I am an uncle already," he said, per Hola!.
Because listeners knew Julio was already an uncle to Enrique and Anna's twins—Nicholas and Lucy—the radio host asked for clarification. "My brother already has three [children]," Julio said, per the magazine. "He is super happy, with the baby and his music."
However, Julio remained tight-lipped when asked about the sex of the child. "It's a secret," he reportedly replied. He also didn't reveal the newborn's name.
