Whether you're rich or poor, an aristocrat or an average Joe, one thread that binds us all is family — and the drama that comes along with sharing the same branch of the tree. The British royal family are no exception to this, and have been having a right old time of it recently with Prince Andrew's questionable links to Jeffrey Epstein, health scares, divorces, and rifts. But no one has suffered more in recent years than the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. Meghan's most recent bout of blame comes from the decision she and Prince Harry made to step back as senior royals, instead of keeping calm and carrying on, and accepting the often racially-charged criticism she regularly faces. But the public judgment around Markle's choices came long before the royal couple decided to quit the family firm. One of her biggest story arcs was her decision to turn her back on her own father in the run-up to her wedding after it was revealed he was offered money to stage photographs for the paparazzi. Like Meghan, I also have a complicated man as a dad, and had to cut him out of my life for two years to preserve my own health and happiness. For a lot of us, our parents take on the position of golden superheroes who fill up our whole lives right from the first few memories. We don't get to see who they really are as people until much, much later, and even then the unconditional bond means we can usually forgive most mistakes.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly accepted an invitation to visit Queen Elizabeth with Archie during the family's annual trip to Scotland, according to "The Sunday Times." The visit would be Meghan and Harry's first trip to the Queen's Balmoral Castle. The couple previously turned down the monarch's invitation to stay at her estate house, as they were adjusting to life as new parents at the time.
Kate Middleton is doing her part to move forward amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s stunning exit. Following the couple’s final royal engagement, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, has returned to her normal schedule and appears to have accepted her increased role in the monarchy. But royal experts believe she is also holding a major grudge against Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, whose exit has forced everyone else to pick up the slack.
Is Kate Middleton holding a grudge against Meghan and Harry? Amid Harry and Meghan’s exit, Kate and the rest of the royal family have put on a united front in public. But during the Sussexes’ final tour of the UK, royal experts believe that Kate showed that she is holding a grudge against the couple.
According to The Guardian, experts have examined Kate’s behavior during the Commonwealth Day service and believe that she is not happy about Harry and Meghan’s decision to quit their duties.
The service marked the last time Harry and Meghan will appear alongside other members of the royal family before their exit becomes official on March 31. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were nothing but smiles during the event, Kate Middleton barely acknowledged them.
Kate and Prince William exchanged a brief greeting with the Sussexes when they arrived, but they ignored them throughout the remained of the service. The Cambridges were seated one row ahead of Harry and Meghan, who spent most of the service talking to Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
Is this a sign that Kate is holding a grudge? Perhaps. At the very least, Kate is probably not too keen on the idea of abruptly increasing her royal duties in the months and years to come.

Meghan Markle forces her Canadian staff to wear latex gloves over coronavirus fears — while husband Prince Harry feels “helpless” being isolated more than 4,500 miles away from his aging royal family, according to a report.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are determined to do something to help during what they deem a “mental health crisis” with the shocking change in life brought about by the pandemic, a close friend told DailyMail.com.
It is also a crisis for them while they are in lockdown on Canada’s Vancouver Island — with Harry feeling “a bit helpless and isolated out in the middle of nowhere” after leaving the UK, according to the report.
He is particularly worried for his 71-year-old father, Prince Charles, and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who turns 94 next month, and has been in contact to urge them to “stay safe and to take extra precautions,” the insider said.
Markle, meanwhile, makes “everyone on their team, the people who buy groceries and run errands, wear latex gloves at all times and are to follow a strict hygiene protocol,” the friend told the site.
“Only a select few will be able to interact with her, Harry and Archie. She said she’s keeping it to a bare minimum.”
Despite finding their final royal tour of the UK “bittersweet,” the Sussexes are “grateful” they got to spend time with Harry’s family “before all this insanity began,” the insider told the site.

Welp, looks like Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship is still pretty tense in the wake of recent royal drama surrounding Harry and Meghan Markle stepping away from their senior royal duties. A source tells Us Weekly, “Publicly, they’ve stopped short of trash-talking each other. But behind closed doors, they’re both filled with anger and resentment.” Apparently, William still isn’t thrilled about Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down and simply can’t get on board: “Harry knows William’s mad at him for uprooting and leaving him to pick up the pieces,” the source says. “But the way Harry sees it, Meghan’s happiness is way more important....Harry’s fed up with being judged or expected to act a certain way.” Meanwhile, another source previously told Us Weekly, “There’s always been a part of Harry that felt like he was living in his brother’s shadow. He doesn’t envy the responsibility that comes with being the future king of England, but William’s the ‘golden boy’ and Harry feels like he has a lot to live up to.” Sounds complicated, but at the end of the day, Meghan and Harry need to be able to make the decision that’s best for their family, and that’s exactly what they did!
