Kensington Palace released a statement refuting ‘Tatler’ magazine’s recent cover story, ‘Catherine the Great,’ which makes claims that Kate Middleton is ‘furious’ about her workload after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior members of the royal family on March 31, and more. Prince Harry is thanking volunteers for giving back. The Duke of Sussex went onto a video call with volunteers from Sport at the Heart, who are helping to give back to their local communities amid the coronavirus pandemic. The news comes after news broke that Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly having some safety concerns at their home. A source told The Daily Beast the couple is concerned for their safety after multiple drones have flown as low as 20 feet above their property, likely to snap photos of the pair and their 1-year-old son Archie. According to the outlet, at least five drone-related incidents have been reported to the police between May 9 and May 25. A spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed to Access Hollywood that there has been some drone violations in the West Los Angeles area although none in the last month.

When Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince Andrew all stepped back from their positions as working royals in rapid succession (albeit for very different reasons), a spotlight was put on Sophie, Countess of Wessex. In this new slimmed-down monarchy, the Queen's daughter-in-law and close confident holds a more prominent role. And now, a wide-ranging profile published in the Times over the weekend, puts her work in focus. The piece highlighted the Duchess's recent trip to South Sudan, and the work she does campaigning against sexual violence in conflict. It also questioned whether she's being asked to do more, given that there are new fewer working royals now than there were even just a few months ago. “We’ve all got our own little portfolios. I don’t see anything changing, but if we’re asked to do more … I don’t know because it hasn’t really happened,” she told journalist Christina Lamb, noting that her schedule is pretty fully booked, and was so even before Harry, Meghan, and Andrew effectively resigned their public duties. “I am pretty busy already, so I’m not sure how much more I can do,” she said. “There are only so many hours in the day. People may pay more attention to what I am doing, but I remain as busy as I have ever been.” She also spoke about identifying as a feminist: “Now there’s a question. I suppose I probably am. I believe in equality for everyone.”

The saying, "never complain, never explain" – created by Benjamin Disraeli – was first adopted by the Duchess of York when she became Queen in 1936. The old saying was then passed on to her own daughter the Queen who appears to have followed the rule without exception during her reign. However, it seems this tradition could soon be one of the past. In the article, written for Tatler, the writer claimed that Kate was feeling “exhausted and trapped” by the extra royal duties put on Kate in the wake of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit. The author also compared Kate to William’s late mother, Princess Diana, saying that fans believe Kate might be suffering from similar eating disorders as Diana due to the added stress. The profile featured interviews with anonymous sources who claimed to be family friends of the Cambridges. The publication's sources made numerous claims about the duchess' relationship with Meghan Markle. The sources said Kate was "furious" about the increased royal duties that resulted from Megxit.

The four young royals had once been pipped as a solid team who would regularly work together, known as the ‘Fab Four’ so many royal fans were devastated at the prospect of a potential fallout – especially as relations between the couples seemed to start off very well. During the couples’ engagement interview in 2017, the BBC’s Mishal Husain asked them what the introduction was like with Kate and William. Harry responded: “It was exciting. I mean, I’ve, you know, I’d been seeing her for a period of time when I literally didn’t tell anybody at all. “And then William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine, so you know being our neighbours we managed to get that in a couple of — well, quite a few times now and Catherine has been absolutely…” Meghan interrupted: “Wonderful.” Harry continued: “Amazing, as has William as well, and then my father as well. "A handful of teas and meetings and all sorts of gatherings over at his place as well. “So no, the family together have been absolutely, you know, a solid support and my grandparents as well have been — have been wonderful throughout this whole process and they've known for quite some time. “So how they — how they haven't told anybody is — is again a miracle in itself. “But now the whole family has come together and there has been a huge amount of support." Meghan added that she had met the Queen a “couple of times”. She explained: “It’s incredible. “I think, you know, to be able to meet her through his lens, not just with his honour and respect for her as the monarch, but the love that he has for her as his grandmother, all of those layers have been so important for me so that when I met her I had such a deep understanding and of course incredible respect for being able to have that time with her.

Prince Harry is reportedly struggling with his new life in Los Angeles. According to Andy Tillett and Dylan Howard, the authors of Royals At War: The Inside Story of Harry and Meghan’s Shocking Split With the House of Windsor, adjusting to life in the states hasn't been as easy as Harry initially anticipated. The difficulties Harry is facing with the move seem to be due, in large part, to the coronavirus, which his the U.S. right as Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, were relocating from their temporary home in Canada to her home state of California. Sources close to the royal say the pandemic has reminded Harry that "Charles and the Queen aren't going to be around forever" and he's found it tough to be so far from his family during this time. "On top of it all, he’s got cabin fever," a source close to Harry said, according to The Sun, who also reports that Harry is "overwhelmed with guilt" about his move. "It was far from an ideal situation," the source added. "Harry’s gone from feeling excited about the move to feeling secretly tortured." Meghan, on the other hand, is reportedly still optimistic about the move in the longterm. "She’s assuring [Harry] that once things go back to normal, he’ll love their new life in LA," the source said. "Meghan wants to take him hiking and talks about the local polo club and how much he’ll love surfing."
