Thomas Markle drops a number of bombshell revelations about Meghan and Prince Harry in the new documentary, 'Thomas Markle: My Story,' which aired on Britain's Channel 5 on Wednesday. In a new documentary that aired overnight, Thomas Markle, the estranged father of Meghan Markle, has harsh words to say about his daughter. TODAY senior international correspondent Keir Simmons comments that Thomas Markle appears to be “looking for sympathy,” but is unlikely to get much. Thomas Markle won't stop talking to the press about his famous daughter anytime soon. Meghan Markle's father said in a new Channel 5 documentary that he would continue to accept money for appearances because she Prince Harry "owe" him. "It's time to look after daddy," Thomas Markle said in the documentary, called "Thomas Markle: My Story," which aired on Wednesday night. And Markle, who was paid for his participation in the documentary, said he planned to continue making money by speaking to the press. "I'm going to defend myself, and I'm going to be paid for it," he added. "I'm not going to refuse being paid for it. I'll do future things, and be paid for it. I don't care. At this point, they owe me. "The royals owe me. Harry owes me. Meghan owes me. What I've been through I should be rewarded for. My daughter told me that when I reach my senior years she'll take care of me. I'm in my senior years now — I'm 75 years old — so it's time to look after daddy." Throughout the one-hour documentary, Markle spoke at length about how he had financially provided for his daughter, and he said she gave him money multiple times after her acting career took off. "She has given me some money," he said. "She gave me $5,000 for Christmas. Most of the money given to me was gifts. Only on one or two occasions did I ask her for a little help, but it was never more than a couple grand."

Thomas Markle — who has not spoken to his daughter since May 2018 — appeared in a 90-minute documentary, Thomas Markle: My Story, for the U.K.’s Channel 5 on Wednesday for which he sold tons of never-before-seen photos and videos of the Duchess of Sussex as a child. http://instagram.com/p/B7nfcE_HDvJ The doc featured photos of Prince Harry’s wife on the day she was born and throughout her childhood. There were pictures of Christmas parties and picnics — some of which also featured her mother, Doria Ragland, who separated from Thomas when Meghan was 6. Rare home videos showed the future Suits star in her first school productions, her high school graduation and as she headed off to college at Northwestern University. There were photos and videos right up to Markle landing her job on Suits in 2011. While the retired Hollywood lighting director offered some sweet recollections of his youngest daughter’s early years — describing them as “the happiest in my life” — he made countless digs at Meghan, his son-in-law and the royal family. Talking about the royals, Thomas said, “At this point, they owe me. The royals owe me. Harry owes me, Meghan owes me. What I've been through I should be rewarded for. My daughter told me that when I reach my senior years she'll take care of me. I'm in my senior years now — it's time to look after Daddy.”

The Duchess of Sussex’s father says his final wish is to be reunited with his estranged daughter – and he will never give up trying. Thomas Markle joins GMB for his first exclusive live interview since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped away from royal duties. Thomas talks about his relationship with Meghan Markle's mother Doria, Meghan's court case with the Mail on Sunday and he sends a message to Prince Harry. Given that this naked threat to pour humiliation and bile on his daughter, whom he professes to love, appears unlikely to motivate Meghan to lift the phone, this raises the existential question of who will get bored of the bitter ravings of Thomas Markle first: him, the viewers, the executives signing the checks, or Piers Morgan, Britain’s Meghan-baiter in chief who has become his favored confessor and conducted today's effort.

By now we're all pretty used to Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, talking smack about his daughter/the royal family to the press, so it wasn't a surprise when he made an appearance on Good Morning Britain a few days ago.
What was notable about his latest interview, however, was that Thomas threatened to do monthly interviews unless Meghan got in touch with him (what?!?!), and he also dragged Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, into the situation. He said, "I’ve spoken and sent letters to Doria to get to Meghan as well, and that hasn’t happened."
And while it's clear that Thomas' threat is pretty gross, Meghan and Harry actually seem more upset that Thomas brought up Doria. In fact, according to The Sun, the Meghan and Harry are "furious" about it. A source shares:
Thomas’ attempt to bring Doria into the whole thing is a desperate move. She is a completely innocent party in the whole thing. If Meghan decides to speak to her dad again it will be her own decision. They don’t want Doria dragged into any of this and to become a pawn for Thomas to use. Doria doesn’t do conflict.

Meghan Markle's dad is pissed at the way she's treating Queen Elizabeth, and the entire Royal Family, but he isn't surprised -- in fact, he claims it's just her MO.
Thomas Markle was out Monday at an Office Depot in Rosarito, Mexico, when he was asked if his daughter has the right to use the term "royal" as part of her brand. He unloaded on Meghan and Prince Harry, for that matter, flat-out saying they "don't have a right to speak to the Queen the way they've spoken to her."
He was clearly referring to Harry and Meg's claim the Queen has no ownership of the word "royal" ... after she blocked them from using it in their Sussex Royal brand.
Pops Markle didn't stop there ... he went on to say Meghan's disrespecting the British people as a whole, and then got very personal. You gotta see it, because it's clear there's a ton of bad blood over how he feels Meghan's treated him, her mother and, yes ... the Windsors.
As we reported, Thomas said he will NOT stop making money off his, albeit strained, relationship with Meghan and his connection to the Royal Family. It's pretty clear he's on the Queen's side post-Megxit but this is about as raw Thomas has ever been.
So much for that whole blood thicker than water stuff. Not so much in Markle clan.
