Selenators begged for Feel Me during the Rare listening party Even when Gomez dropped Rare without “Feel Me”, fans still held on to hope. During the actress’ Rare Listening Patry, where she answered questions about the album from her fans on Twitter, she was asked about the song multiple times. “@selenagomez is there any possibility that you can release Feel me?” one fan questioned. Gomez went on to share that the song wasn’t aligned with her life at the moment and she had no intention of releasing it. Selena Gomez is just full of surprises during her Rare era. After four years, she has finally released fan-favorite song, “Feel Me” which she first sang for fans when she was on her Revival tour. But, that’s just the latest gift that Gomez has given her fans. In the past several months, Gomez has announced a new beauty line, Rare Beauty, released her third solo studio album, Rare, and surprised her fans with two unexpected music videos. It’s clear that Gomez truly is finally in “a sweeter place.” Selena Gomez introduced fans to Feel Me on the Revival tour Before Gomez released the tracklist for Rare, Selenators (Gomez’s most loyal fans) were convinced that “Feel Me” would make the cut. Even though the singer had only sung the tune for fans in concert, leaked copies were distributed on the Internet. The reaction to the song was overwhelmingly positive. People could relate to the story that the lyrics told of being a scorned lover and hoping that your ex would never be able to move on from you completely. Needless to say, fans weren’t thrilled about Gomez’s response and still begged for “Feel Me” to be released in any capacity. “Can we still have an unofficial released studio version though? we’ve been waiting #RareListeningParty” one person questioned.

Gomez surprised fans on Instagram and Twitter But, Gomez seems to have changed her tune about “Feel Me” or at the very least just wanted to give her loyal fans a surprise. Earlier today, the “Lose You To Love Me” songstress took to her social media profiles to give fans a huge gift. “On the Revival Tour, I introduced a song that you guys haven’t stopped talking about since. Soo you asked and I listened 😘 Today, Feel Me is out online and vinyl everywhere,” the 27-year-old wrote. A long time ago, back before Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber got back together, before Trump was elected, and before we had TikTok to tell us what songs are good, Selena Gomez performed “Feel Me” on her Revival Tour in the summer of 2016 and fans were hooked. The unreleased track lived on solely through live recordings … until now. “On the Revival Tour, I introduced a song that you guys haven’t stopped talking about since,” Gomez tweeted, throwing in a kissing emoji. “Soo you asked and I listened. Today, ‘Feel Me’ is out online and vinyl everywhere.” Doesn’t “Feel Me” sound like 2016 in all the best ways? This is the song we could’ve had to dance us through the election. You know, something for the end times, something for the girls to get ready and protest to. In January, Gomez gave us a whole album of bops. Rare was her first record since her 2015 album Revival. So much has changed since then, but a good pop song never goes out of style. Alexa, play “Feel Me”!

Hot off the heels of Justin Bieber's new album "Changes," which is essentially an open love letter to wife Hailey Baldwin, Selena Gomez decided to release a song about an unfaithful ex that she originally wrote during her on-again, off-again relationship with the Biebs. On Friday, Selena dropped the single "Feel Me" — a track she debuted during her Revival tour back in 2016. This period was a particularly messy time for the former couple, who would be fighting in the comments section on Instagram (remember #SelenaEndedJustinParty?) one moment, and posting PDA photos the next. "So one night, I was really irritated and I wrote this whole song," Selena told fans, before performing the song for the first time four years ago. The lyrics are telling of Sel's state of mind during this tumultuous period, in which Justin also dated Hailey and ex Sofia Richie — and Selena accused him of cheating. "Every time your lips touch another / I want you to feel me,” the chorus goes. "Every time you dance with somebody / I want you to feel me." The song continues: “Won’t be caught up in the middle / Of your highs and your lows / Baby, long as you’re not with me / You’ll always be alone.” Basically, Bieber can see other people, but Gomez will always be the one who got away. Selena says she intentionally left "Feel Me" off the Rare album because it "doesn't fit with where I am right now," but after fans kept requesting her to drop the song, she caved to their demands. The timing, though, could be considered more than a coincidence.

Last night, the singer released a new track titled "Feel Me", a song that fans have been waiting for since 2016!!! The song was first debuted on her Revival tour four years ago, which was a really hard time for Selena and Justin. They had only just reunited, and Justin had serenaded her with a cover of "My Girl" in LA. He even posted a photo of them kissing, with the caption, "Feels." A few months after that photo surfaced, Selena was on stage during her tour and sang "Feel Me" for the very first time. "So one night, I was really irritated and I wrote this whole song," she said. In August 2016, things worsened between the former couple, when Justin and Sofia Richie started dating. Fans weren't happy that Justin had moved on from Selena so soon after splitting with Selena, and the exes had a huge public fight on Instagram, with Selena accusing Justin of cheating on her. "Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love," Selena wrote. While they went on to date and break up and date and break up and date and break up again... Selena insisted that she has moved on since then. "That song was from when I was in a different place and doesn’t fit with where I am right now," she told a fan back in January.
