In news that is honestly long overdue, Jess and Lisa Origliasso (aka The Veronicas) are finally set to release their very own fragrance. As you might expect, there's only one name that the iconic duo could have possibly chosen for their scent and they did not disappoint.
Christened after your favourite violin-heavy banger, Untouched arrives in a ruby red jewel heart bottle complete with a golden stopper. According to the girls' Instagram account, the fragrance has been inspired by their "favourite meditation oils, used to recharge and empower the wearer".
Calling it "a symbol of power, protection and self love", the non-binary, cruelty-free perfume features warm notes of amber and sandalwood, as well as subtle hints of waterlily.
It also features top notes of apple leaf and aloe nectar, mid notes of pink freesia and jasmine petals and dry notes of sandalwood, amber crystals and marshmallow musks. Basically, we want it so much.
If you're eager to get your hands on a bottle or three, Untouched is available for exclusive pre-sale right now through Chemist Warehouse. The 100mL bottle will set you back a mere $49.99, so don't even think about what's right or wrong or wrong or right, just get adding to cart immediately.
While you're there, you might also want to pick up Ariana Grande's thank u, next perfume, which is now available from the discount Aussie chemist too.
The Veronicas have officially split from their management team, Red Mgmt.
After two years of being managed by the company, twins Lisa and Jess Origliasso have decided to go in a different direction.
Their departure comes after a tumultuous few months, during which the singers, both 35, made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
In September, The Veronicas claimed they were wrongly removed from a Qantas flight after asking a flight attendant for help adjusting their bags in the overhead compartment.
They said the flight attendant refused to help with their overhead luggage, and Australian Federal Police were called onto the plane and had the sisters removed.
Lisa and Jessica's mother Colleen was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, which causes her thinking, memory and movement to slowly deteriorate. The famous duo released a statement to The Courier Mail in June 2018.
It began: 'After several years of misdiagnosis, our mum Colleen has finally (been) given a diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia with progressive supranuclear palsy.
'It has been an incredibly heartbreaking and frustrating time trying to find a definitive diagnosis. We have had incredible support from friends and family.
'We wanted to share our beautiful mum's story so that we can hopefully raise awareness for people and their families affected by this disease.'
Following Colleen's dementia diagnosis, Jess and Lisa moved back home to Australia after living in America for years for their music career.
Alongside a childhood photo of Kai and a video of the pair celebrating their engagement, the 35-year-old pop star wrote in the caption: 'You are so rare to me.'
'You are my beginning, my middle and my end. I see what you do every day, quietly working away at your medical degree, most people don't even know you're doing this!!
'Your commitment and discipline blows my entire mind!! Your music and art, your work, commitment to self-love and comforting me through one of the hardest experiences in life,' she continued.
On Sunday, The Veronicas singers Lisa and Jess Origliasso have revealed they are in 'self quarantine' over coronavirus fears.
The twin sisters, 35, both shared video clips on their respective Instagram stories revealing they had isolated themselves at their home in rural Queensland.
Jess and Lisa made a number of videos filmed at the the $695,000, four-bedroom property.
Lisa captioned one video 'self quarantine' and then panned around her luxurious bathroom, with the tap running in a round stone bath.
In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, Jessica explained: 'We are practicing social distancing, and self quarantine to protect the most vulnerable people in our family and communities.'
She added that the sisters wanted to continue seeing their mother Colleen, 72, who is fighting Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare degenerate brain disorder.
It gives us the utmost pleasure to deliver your new coronavirus social distancing song: The Veronicas have gathered more stars together to sing their 2007 hit 'Untouched'.
The song is already a banger in its own right and has left people singing at the top of their lungs ever since its original release.
However, this acoustic version has been released amid a pandemic which encourages people to avoid touching our faces and other things couldn't be more relevant.
The video features *takes a breath* Cub Sport, San Cisco, Wafia, TKAY, Allday, G Flip, Vance Joy, RUEL, Cosmo's Midnight, Kira Puru, Alex Lahey, Vlossom, Jack River, Skegss, Tia Gostelow, Nicole Millar, Clea, Ball Park Music, Maddy Jane, Tyne-James Organ, Eves Karydas, Woodes, mallrat, E^ST, WAAX, oh boy, Bec Sandridge, BATTS, odette, Montaigne, Northeast Party House, Asta, Alex The Astronaut, CXLOE, Lonelyspeck, Sycco... and of course The Veronicas.
