Bond girl Olga Kurylenko is in self-isolation after testing positive for the coronavirus.
“Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus. I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!” the 40-year-old star of “Quantum of Solace” said on Instagram.
The Ukrainian-born stunner, who has had French citizenship since 2001, didn’t tell her her 567,000 followers where she was recovering.
She also told her fans that she was eating garlic to boost her immune system, according to the Sun.
“I have cough only in the morning, then I do not have any cough at all,” she wrote. “Unfortunately, we have no cure for this virus. We must wait until it passes.”
Kurylenko added: “To bring down the temperature, they said to take Paracetamol [acetaminophen], which I do.
“That’s all. Nothing more to do. Of course, I still take vitamins for myself like that. And I eat garlic, just for the immune system. I drink water. Squeeze lemons in water. That’s all.”
Kurylenko, mother of 4-year-old Alexander with her former partner Max Benitz, is best known for her roles in the 2008 James Bond flick “Quantum of Solace” with Daniel Craig, and opposite Tom Cruise in the 2013 sci-fi film “Oblivion.”
Video: Idris Elba urges fans not to 'freak out' as he confirms he has tested positive for coronavirus COVID-19... but is yet to discover if wife Sabrina has also contracted the virus
This trailer for the James Bond film Quantum of Solace features Olga Kurylenko in a starring role. The French actress, who played Camille Montes in the 2008 movie, has revealed to her fans on Instagram she is positive for the coronavirus.
Idris Elba has revealed he has tested positive for the coronavirus via Twitter.
The actor, 47, said that he 'feels ok' and has no symptoms but has decided to self-isolate following his exposure to COVID-19.
Posting a video on social media, the star sat next to his wife Sabrina to give fans an update on his condition.
Idris had attended the WE Day UK Charity event and concert in London last Tuesday March 3 with Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
She announced she tested positive for the virus last week and will self quarantine.
Bond girl Olga Kurylenko said she has “completely recovered” from the coronavirus after announcing earlier this month that she had contracted the deadly bug.
Kurylenko, 40, posted the update to her Instagram page Sunday, along with a photo of her 4-year-old son, Alexander, sitting on her lap in front of a fireplace as she wore a surgical mask.
“To recapitulate: For one week I felt pretty bad and was mostly in bed, sleeping, with high fever and strong headache,” the actress and model posted. “The second week, the fever was gone but some light cough appeared and I felt very tired.”
“By the end of the second week I felt totally fine,” she continued. “Cough is almost gone although I still cough in the mornings but then it completely goes away for the day! I’m fine! And now I’m just enjoying this time to reflect on many things and spend my time with my son.”
Three days earlier, Kurylenko posted a face-mask selfie, and photos of multiple vitamins and supplements she was taking.
