There will be a new guitar player in Evanescence the next time the band hits the stage. The band revealed that Jen Majura, who has been with the Amy Lee-led group since 2015, will no longer be performing with the band. "It has been a very special chapter in the band with our dear friend Jen Majura, but we have decided it’s time to go our separate ways," read a statement on the group's social media. "We will always love her and support her, and can’t wait to see what she does next! We are so grateful for the good times and great music we made all around the world together." http://instagram.com/p/Cd08rvOJIq4 While the group did not reveal Majura's replacement, they assured, "We are hard at work rehearsing for our upcoming tour and will have some exciting news about the new lineup coming in the next few days, so stay tuned."

After splitting with guitarist Jen Majura over the weekend, Evanescence have revealed their new touring lineup, which now features Tim McCord on guitar and Emma Anzai of Sick Puppies on bass. For fans, the lineup change only brings one new member to the band as McCord had occupied the role of bassist from 2006 through the present. Now, however, he'll switch over to guitar, which the band described as his "original instrument" in a statement on social media regarding the latest lineup change. In that same statement (seen below), the group, whose latest album, The Bitter Truth, was released last year, also revealed that Anzai has taken up the bass spot vacated by McCord. "We've been friends and fans for years, and the time has finally come to join forces," said Evanescence of this latest addition. For Anzai, she'll be quite busy performing two sets a night with some upcoming tour dates where Evanescence and Sick Puppies will share the bill. http://instagram.com/p/Cd6H70rpNRR Ladies and gentlemen, we have some very big news to share. Introducing our new guitarist… TIM MCCORD!! After 16 years in the band as our rock solid bass player, Tim is taking a turn on his original instrument. Spoiler alert- he’s great at it. And on bass, it is our extreme pleasure to welcome the incredibly talented Emma Anzai of Sick Puppies! We’ve been friends and fans for years, and the time has finally come to join forces. Emma will be pulling double duty as we have some shows with Sick Puppies coming up soon, so get ready for that! We are all very excited to bring this new formation to the stage for the first time in Athens on June 5. See you soon!

Evanescence's Amy Lee joined Korn onstage to sing "Freak on a Leash" on the first night of a co-headlining tour.
Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado hosted the opening night which found Korn playing a 16-song set that included two tracks off their latest album, Requiem, the live debut of "Idiosyncrasy" from 2019's The Nothing and the resurrection of the Paradigm Shift cut "Spike in My Veins" for the first time since 2015.
But perhaps the greatest surprise of all came on the final song in Korn's set, "Freak on a Leash," where Jonathan Davis and Lee traded lines in a joint performance of the Follow the Leader hit.
In the fan-filmed video seen below, the song's signature twitchy guitar leads ring out as Davis motions over to the side of the stage as Lee stands outside of the frame in the video for a while before the camera angle moves to bring the singer in focus. Helping to bring a sense of cohesion, both Davis and Lee wore similar stage clothes, decked out in all black with straps and other materials dangling from their waists.
Unfortunately, Lee didn't duet with Davis when the iconic vocal scat portion of the song kicked in. Maybe next time? Let's hope!
Korn and Evanescence's co-headlining U.S. tour will continue through Sept. 16. See all of the upcoming dates at this location and, for tickets, head here.
