Sarah Jessica Parker has spoken out for the first time about her sister-in-law Janet Broderick's battle with coronavirus. The Sex and the City actress reassured her fans that the 64-year-old was on the mend after being diagnosed with the fast-spreading disease earlier in March. Answering a fan on Instagram who asked after Janet, the mother-of-three revealed: "She is better. She was very sick. Home from the hospital now. Recovering. Thank you for asking." Janet is the sister of Sarah's husband, Matthew Broderick, and fell ill after attending a parish conference in Kentucky, where another attendee had coronavirus. Janet was taken to hospital and was treated for a severe form of pneumonia. http://instagram.com/p/B-gBRI_F5x- The news of Janet's ill health was announced by her church, All Saints' the Episcopal Church, located in Beverly Hills, where she works as a rector. A statement on the church's website read: "As you also may know, it was reported last Sunday that the rector of Christ Church Georgetown in Washington, D.C., an attendee of the conference, was diagnosed with the COVID-19 coronavirus." It continued: "Janet's current condition is stable, and she is being treated by a severe form of pneumonia. She is receiving the best medical care available and her doctor's prognosis is for a complete and full recovery." Janet herself sent a message to the church, thanking everyone for their prayers. She also reassured everyone, writing: "I am through the worst of this and very, very much on the mend." http://instagram.com/p/B-NU-Khlkaw

Maren Morris invited Hozier to perform "The Bones" with her for the One World: Together at Home concert live stream. The pair's virtual duet was Morris' first public performance since giving birth to her first baby, Hayes Andrew, in March. Hozier, on guitar, joined the country singer on vocals for the soulful chorus and took over the second verse. One World: Together at Home, a worldwide benefit concert in support of healthcare workers in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, started off with a six-hour stream beginning at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. A two-hour televised special will follow, with performances by show curator Lady Gaga, plus The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and more artists.

Maren Morris just set the record straight on her quarantine beauty regimen for one Internet critic. http://instagram.com/p/B_NvmqGhIxY On Tuesday, the 30-year-old country singer shared a makeup-free selfie on Instagram, cradling her newborn son Hayes Andrew in the sweet photo, that garnered an unkind comment from one user who wrote, “stop with the Botox.” The singer replied and made it very clear that she has been keeping it au naturel while self-isolating amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. http://instagram.com/p/B_JEINdBC94 “Dude, I just went through a pregnancy and we’re in the middle of a quarantine. The Botox has long worn off [laughing emoji],” Morris wrote. That comment aside, the new mom received mostly love and support under her post, which she captioned with lyrics from Patty Griffin’s “Mary.”

On April 18, musical artists came together virtually for a televised concert, One World: Together at Home, which paid tribute to those essential workers and medical staff who remain on the frontline of the fight against the coronavirus. The event was organized by Global Citizen on behalf of the World Health Organization and United Nations, and hosted by Lady Gaga, who broadcasted from the comfort of her home studio.
Though her rendition of “Smile” was chill-inducing, fans watching couldn’t help but notice the incredible floor pattern beneath Gaga’s feet (which you can see better starting at :52 in the video below).
The floor is covered with bold geometric shapes in gray, pink, lime, light blue, and orange. It’s a happy array of triangles and rectangles that look like they may be tiles—though, it’s hard to tell.
As Twitter will tell you, Gaga’s floor was the perfect backdrop for her performance. As soon as they saw it, the internet fell head over heels for the “coolest floor” in the world.

As part of Global Citizen's "Together At Home" series, which raises money for the World Health Organization amid the coronavirus pandemic, a handful of cast members from Friday Night Lights staged a virtual reunion to re-watch the series' pilot together and answer fan questions. (That is, once they figured out how this Zoom thing works.) Friday Night Lights premiered in 2006 and took viewers inside the small town of Dillon, Texas, where family and football are everything. Some of Dillon's finest — Adrianne Palicki (Tyra Collette), Scott Porter (Jason Street), Derek Phillips (Billy Riggins), Aimee Teegarden (Julie Taylor), Gaius Charles (Smash Williams), and Brad Leland (Buddy Garrity) — reunited to share stories of what it was like to make the show, how they kept busy off-set, and what they loved about filming in Austin, Texas. To hear about days spent hanging out on the lake, drinking margaritas, and playing flag football against the hyper-competitive Taylor Kitsch, watch the video in full above.
