In the midst of the Corona virus pandemic with self-service at home, Babymetal presents to The One (called Babymetal fans) worldwide free streaming concert titled 'Stay Home Stay Metal', on Babymetal's official YouTube channel.
Although Babymetal now leaves only the duo, Suzuka Nakamoto aka Su-metal (main vocal, background vocal, dancer) and Moa Kikuchi aka Moa-metal (vocal, background vocal, dancer), the 'Stay Home Stay Metal' concert is guaranteed to make you, The One, really miss Yui Mizuno aka Yui-metal (vocals, backing vocals, dancer). Why?
Yup, because this concert took place in 2016, when Yui was still joining. As you know, Yui officially resigned from Babymetal in October 2018 due to unclear or mysterious reasons. Some say because it's sickness, this is it, that's it, hehe.
To be sure, he said, listen, if Yui returns to the music stage, she will become a solo artist. Not rejoining Babymetal. Too bad. But all fans expect him back. Is there a possibility? Is this concert a code? Even next October 2020 Babymetal will celebrate 10 years alias 1 decade of his career. What will they present to us? Only Fox God knows.
The concert was held at the Tokyo Dome, an indoor baseball stadium in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan with a capacity of up to 55,000 people. The concert was divided into two days with a different setlist, namely 'Red Night' on September 19 and 'Black Night' on September 20, 2016. The setlist of each of the concerts consisted of a mix of songs taken from two Babymetal albums, namely Babymetal (2014) and Metal Resistance (2016).
It was recorded that there were almost 110,000 viewers in total who attended the two-day concert.
The 'Red Night & Black Night' concept at Tokyo Dome was previously released by CD, DVD and Bluray by BMD Fox Records and Toy's Factory on April 12, 2017. The two-day concert on September 19 and 20 at Tokyo Dome was a stopover last aka their final concert in the 2016 Babymetal Word Tour series: Metal Legend Resistance.
'Red Night & Black Night Live at Tokyo Dome' is also a follow-up episode of 'Live at Budokan: Red Night & Black Night Apocalypse' whose CD, DVD and Bluray was released on January 7, 2015. A two-day concert held at the concert venue legendary in Japan founded since 1964, Nippon Budokan. A long line of big names and legendary world have held concerts here, ranging from the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple, KISS, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne to Dream Theater. And Babymetal itself, of course, has been prepared as a metal legend in the future.
