Taylor Swift and Katy Perry fans are speculating that the pair are set to collaborate on an upcoming single. The duo, who have had a high-profile, long-standing tension, buried the hatchet last year when Perry sent Swift a literal olive branch. http://instagram.com/p/B_5H9jPH3sA Last year, Perry said she wouldn’t rule out a future collaboration with Swift now the pair are friends again, and upon yesterday’s (May 8) announcement of Perry’s upcoming single ‘Daisies’, fans noticed some distinctly Swift-shaped links. Almost as soon as Perry shared the song’s title and floral artwork, Swift posted an Instagram story of her wearing a daisy-emblazoned jumper. See both posts below. http://instagram.com/p/B_5R2ShDCrY Also attracting fans’ attention was a post from the American Idol Twitter account, the show that Perry is a judge on. Quote tweeting her announcement of ‘Daisies’, they wrote: “We can’t wait to play this like 1,989 times in a row,” pointing to Swift’s 2014 album ‘1989’.

Katy Perry might be having "Daisies," the first single of her fifth studio album, bloom next Friday, May 15, but she's spreading that joy earlier with her digital flower shop Katy's Daisies. The pop star opened up her one-stop-shop this week, which offers 12 free multicolored bouquet options with beautiful names (that could potentially double as KP5 track titles), such as "Light In Your Life," "Pink & Purple In The Sky," "Sweet Escape" and "Heart & Soul." http://instagram.com/p/B_7wW08HeWL "Our goal is to provide the best virtual flower delivery service that can help you tell someone you care, you love them, you miss them, or simply thank them for believing in you. Select a bouquet you wish to share and write your personal message to go along with it. We're sure you'll be able to find the right bloom for just about anyone!" Perry wrote on the online shop's landing page, with a sweet nod to her fiancé Orlando Bloom. Each digital bouquet comes with a card that fans can send to their mothers for Mother's Day on Sunday (May 10), friends, significant others and more loved ones. Customers can also download virtual videos of the flowers blowing in the breeze and upload them to their Instagram stories or feeds. The bouquets also flourish into downloadable coloring book pages, phone wallpapers and desktop screen savers.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are known to many as a powerhouse couple. However, the singer recently admitted that although they are in quarantine with one another, they are not invading each other’s personal space.
During an interview with Cosmopolitan, Katy admitted, “He’s being very sensitive, knowing that we’re not only in quarantine but we’re doing it while pregnant,” she said. “He’s also doing a lot of pro-style cycling for a couple of hours a day, so that gives me my space.”
However, when she is left to her own devices, the singer works on tweeking her style. “I’ve gone very boho, pulling my hair back, popping on a turban, doing my own makeup, reusing lashes I’ve stored away from previous shoots pre-quarantine” as well as indulging in some retail therapy. “I went on the SHEIN website and picked a specific boho-y dress I’ll actually be wearing tomorrow.”

Is a collaboration between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift happening? In a new interview on Monday (May 11), Perry teased the possibility while promoting her upcoming performance on American Idol. "Well, you're just gonna have to tune in to Idol next week to see all rumors, true or false," the pop star told Extra as her fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie laughed along at her promoting the show. Whether or not it's a collaboration with Swift, Perry is set to release her new track "Daisies" -- the lead single from her upcoming fifth studio album -- on May 15, just two days before the season finale of American Idol, where she'll perform the track live for the first time. (Perry also joked that she will not be giving birth on air.) An assist from Swift would mark the first time the two singers have collaborated in the studio, though they ended their longstanding feud in 2019 when Perry made a surprise cameo in the video for Swift's second Lover-era single "You Need to Calm Down."

Katy Perry announced her pregnancy back in March by displaying her baby bump at the end of her “Never Worn White” music video. And now its follow-up video, for the new single “Daisies,” looks like a maternity glamour photo shoot come to life. The idyllic clip, lensed by filmmaker Liza Voloshin from a “safe social distance,” depicts the radiant pop star and American Idol judge frolicking in nature — at one point even stripping off her gauzy sundress to wade naked under a waterfall. Perry’s profile pose, reclining against a rock wall with her arm draped across her bare chest, is reminiscent of other iconic au naturel maternity shots, like Demi Moore and Serena Williams’s famous Vanity Fair covers or Jessica Simpson’s Elle cover in 2012. http://instagram.com/p/CALKFdSnDQI Perry isn’t just baring skin in the “Daisies” video; she’s baring her soul in the song’s lyrics, too. In a press release, Perry described “Daisies,” which has the same ebullient, triumphant feel as her hits “Firework” and “Roar,” as “an anthemic celebration of the resilience of the human spirit. … I wrote this song as a call to remain true to the course you've set for yourself, regardless of what others may think.” Perry is expecting a baby girl with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, to whom she became engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019; this will be her first child, and Bloom’s second. The two were reportedly supposed to get married this June but postponed their wedding due to coronavirus concerns. Perry has not officially announced her baby’s due date, merely saying it will be in the “summer,” but on Instagram Live after the “Never Worn White” video premiere, she did say that she hoped to have her fifth studio album drop around the same time as the birth. The press release for the “Daisies” video announces that the album is now confirmed for an Aug. 14 release.
